Assuming the truckers all decide to cooperate and move immediately it’s still going to be an absolute shitshow getting trucks out of there. The goose is cooked.

The government hauls the trucks away (I mean, there's only a few thousand of them, and there'll be even fewer if the government waits a week or two, and Ottawa isn't actually the center of Canada's population or economy) and then life continues as normal. Even pissing off 15% of truckers would mean a massive price spike in Ottawa.

Unlike your government I believe in the invisible hand. If there's deliveries to be made, there'll be someone to do it if the price is right.

Why? The bugman hive of Ottawa is already pissed and Toronto and Vancouver is full of people calling them Nazis and insurrectionists. Wait a couple days, because this going to get ugly and all the good will they have is going to get burned out. The media will cheer them being chased off and because the man in the suit on TV says it, the boomers and "centrists" will too because of how rude they were to that one guy's statue and some peaceful counter-protestors.

They will NEVER admit defeat. Even if the truckers gain some concessions like the Yellow Vests did (the Rothschild's boy Macron having to start smack-talking critical race theory and a few globohomo tenets), they'll never say the protest was the cause. That's because they don't want it in people's heads that protests can work, nor do they want it in people's heads how fragile their power actually is.

I'm loving how you talk like you know. First off, I'm in Toronto. Sure, got my own social circle but I consider them diverse and they're all in for this, they just can't go protest cuz they have livelihoods and sheit. Second, consider myself centrist since faggots are gay and boomer conservatives are even gayer. I can see your point about the government not wanting to admit defeat, but that's why you run your dogs nose in its own shit when it's been a bad boy. I understand the protesters asked for government resignation and to drop the mandates because if they get them to negotiate and lift the mandates it's still a win, but I'm here to support the chaos. It's long past due for some shakeup in this goofy assed political system the whole fuckin planet seems caught up in. Did I mention I'm also vaxxed and severely athsmatic? I know none of this can technically be verified on a site like this, but I'm not in the business of bullshit. I've been black pilled for the last decade and this is the first time in years I'm feeling something can happen, and in a truly positive way that beats down the auth/left shit heels. I fucking love my country for the first time in my life, and if I have to pack my shit up and drag my mates to Ottawa myself to keep this going, I'll fucking do it.

Oh sure no one is denying the deliveries will be made, but when will they be made? All the money in the world cannot make products move to shelves faster when there's less people around to move them.

Your hypothesis is likely correct, but it's worth mentioning that there are actually two types of oversocialized individuals who primarily contribute to this phenomenon:

The minority: Individuals with "high agreeableness" who will try to "fit in" with others by not going against the majority. They will not speak up even when they know the majority is wrong; they are cowards who fear social ostracization.

The majority: "Normies", "NPCs", etc. who base their entire reality on the perceived consensus of their peers. When the consensus (perceived or otherwise) changes; their entire reality changes. Their perception of reality is democratic. They do not *want* to be on the "winnning side" nor are they even intelligent enough to understand why they believe what they believe, why they hold conflicting beliefs, that their beliefs conflict with eachother in the first place, or why they suddenly switched sides when they do.

This is why the "Consensus Crack" technique is so effective.

The original version of my post said it would take a week or two, but I took that part out because I wanted to add in waiting a week to start and reusing "wait a week" just made the post read shitty (lots of the non-truck people who make up the numbers aren't regular border-crossers and will be returning to their regular lives after a week because their jobs and private lives will be expecting them back.)

Yeah, I agree, much more than a few days is pushing it. It's not really a surprise most of this protesting takes place on the weekends, since people have to be at their jobs. As a contrast, BLM and Antifa can protest whenever they feel like since most of them don't have jobs. It's really a matter of who breaks first, and the truckers have basically just built their encampment. I'm just a rando on the internet, and I can see how the government can win, so of course they can see it too.

Anyways, the Canadians can use military/police vehicles to move the trucks in addition to private tow services. They can also, if the situation demands it, start and drive them out themselves. I have no idea how "vehicle privacy" and other such principles are handled in Canada but I guarantee that the state police or national guard would be allowed to do that where I live, provided they got a court order or state of emergency declaration. As Save the Loli pointed out, a lot of drivers will also probably start fleeing back to their homes if shit starts getting real. Its fun to laugh at shitlibs who hate the honking but the honkers have to sit through it all too. People aren't going to be as party happy a week in.

One post earlier in the thread says Canada's military has a grand total of 4 vehicles equipped to tow large semis like this (I forget the military's term for them). But that's theoretically four vehicles driven by government bullies to start removing trucks and fining people which can start a chain reaction. I'm not sure how many police forces in Canada are equipped with them. Probably not many, since normally the cops would use a private service to carry out the towing.
