That cant be right. I remember they considered it a race thing entirely. They would have people get sent to camps simply being distantly related to Jewish relatives. Even if they were married to non jewish spouses. If it were that easy, more people would have done it.

Canada has strict laws that say no PMCs in Canada. Some security firms have proper goons, but those are far and few between.

Please refer to the press releases around the new OIC targeting firearms last year. The government tried to go after airsoft and paintball claiming that it was "unlawful drilling" as outlined in the Criminal Code of Canada.

Good luck with PMCs getting hired to clear this out.

Except there were Jews who served in the military. The money was the issue. If you walked away from it, you became German.

I know there were some in the SA and in Finland. Im sure there's a lot of shit not commonly talked about in the history books, but It seems crazy for it to be that easy... I do remember a fair amount of people being let out to go to other nations, but not many wanted to take em in. Especially not america. What you are thinking of were their special rules for mischlinge (mixed race) who were ambiguously jewish/german.

I try to detach myself from Canadian politics these days. I can’t help but feel bad for the Ottawa citizens whose babies can’t sleep, animals in distress and people can’t go to work/access things downtown. Yeah, the honking was funny at first but now I genuinely feel bad.

Unfortunately revolutions carry collateral damage. I think a couple stressful nights are acceptable causalities. If the truckers are quiet and ignorable, the politicians would ignore them. Things need to be completely unacceptable to move these people to change.
