Yes, you will roll over and play dead because you are a fucking ballless fucking cuck who will fucking shit yourself every time the Normie "fascists" decide they have had enough of your fucking bullshit because you know you stupid lefty communists are 5% of the population of the world and are allowed to exist because of the charity of the rest of the human race.

Shut the fuck up and eat your tendies loser.
They better save the tendies for when the grocery stores run out.

there are also gas masks for horses.

Yes, I know it's a real thing but all I can think of is the HROT boss.

I struggle to think the last time I felt this much pride for freedom. It's astounding and amazing. Godspeed you beautiful leaves.
Remember the BLM "protests" mysteriously vanished as soon as it got cold outside while these are happening mid winter.

Everything about the left is weak and pathetic.

Every time you read an article that talks about how we're flirting with a logistics crisis, there aren't enough truck drivers and soon there'll be no food on the shelves should remember this...

Truck drivers are now the most powerful profession in the world. Union and strike actions by them can now bring any government in the West down. I am reading up on how tough it is to get a HGV license right now.

Terry Fox was not a political figure and my relative driving for 47 years across North America knew he had it easy compared to growing up on the farm.

He also frequently helped during traffic accidents by blocking traffic before cops arrived. You're literally enclosed in a cab for 12 hours a day if not locked in a motel with no time for real fun. If you actually have to work hard. If you don't then you probably have days or weeks in between runs.

To the person who suggested citizens leave their homes to go on vacation to avoid the protest- that's fucking stupid and suggests over 10k+ people can afford to do so. Also if it comes down to don't like it then leave- literally the same can be said for the truckers. Don't like the rules? Get a new job. (They can't because they're partially handicapped from decades of sitting behind a wheel vs behind an office desk).

I get there's a lot of Conservative leaning leafs here and I still claim to be a moderate because both sides are absolute fuck wits. The amount of pure ignorance displayed by leafs within this thread on their own politics and history + the very clear right wing propaganda/leftist hate is pretty staggering. Sadly it's become an echo chamber rather than an actual discussion which is a great example of the failures of Canadians on a whole.

And comparing moving around vigorously in skiing in a full snow suit and protective gear in -20 weather is not comparable to out of shape folks in parkas from Walmart. Warming centers are opened for those stuck outdoors and there are regulations regarding how you would work in this temperature. You can get frost bite pretty easily, especially when you're not paying attention.
"I'm not picking a side"
"These truckers are big mean poopyheads"

Get fucked.

Cities generally only have 3 days of food on hand at any given time. Add the supply chain issues of the past year... I'm guessing Ottawa had a lean 2 days of food.

Be funny if the truckers were the only ones able to get food and started handing it out to the homeless just to spite that shelter.

Look at the sheer scale of the cascade effect the "fuel crisis" had on the UK's economy and a big discussion about how vital truck drivers are to the UK's economy.

The laughable reality of the crisis was 20 or so stations were going to get deliveries a day late. That was it. 20 stations in the South of England were going to get deliveries Weds/Thurs instead of Mon/Tues.

That snowballed into everyone going and topping up their cars and generally causing stations to run dry, and a whole week of madness followed suit to the point the UK's road based equivalent of a "Merchant Navy" had to be called upon to solve it.

Oh, and all the supermarkets are tempting in drivers with £5,000+ ($6,702 USD/ $8,556 CAD) sign up bonuses.

Truckers and logistics in general continue to be the lifeblood of most economies and quite a few places have treated them like utter dogshit for a while to the point lots are retiring and there's no new "Knights of the Road" coming forward globally.

In the UK it was estimated we're about 100,000 drivers short for what'd be "ideal" for a just in time economy, which has lead a lot of companies investing in massive warehouses in order to reinforce their supply lines.

It's also why there's a suddenly renewed interest in railfreight and how best to get the bulk or parcels and other things to hubs by rail as people's attitudes to that work has changed, most want to go home at night to their family/loved ones and have more of a set area to operate in, versus the present free-for-all a lot of long distance truckers suffer from.

When you realize reddit is 1 honk away of a mental breakdown you realize the revolution comes in the shape of a truck - Truck Tzu

Not difficult. Can do a 5 day practical course and get a basic license, just costs between 1-2 grand to get the whole shabang.

But anyways tard, we're bongers. All the lorries are owned by distributors and haulage firms. You don't need a HGV license. You could shut down London with 5k cars, with ease. It's just the question of getting the numbers up and making sure what you're protesting for is actually worth it and philosophically sound.

Football fans are the key I reckon. Look how quickly people mobilised when the yank owners of Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal tried to start a EU fag superleague with other continental clubs at the expense of every other club's revenue and ambition. Their chairman received death threats and entire grounds were besieged with pissed off fans. If there's one thing that'd get British people to start strapping bombs to children, it's that.

But no. That energy will never be steered towards something constructive in this country. It's far too gone, the people too propagandised and self-centered to ever possess the spirit required to put everything on the line. The closest we've ever come to a revolution since Oliver Cromwell is Brexit, the whole ethos of which has been utterly betrayed by our compromised establishment.

Ottawa is not going to starve. There are more than plenty Canadian truckers who are perfectly happy to keep working, the only way that could even feasibly happen would be if the truckers blocked EVERY way of getting into the city and defended all of them from the police and military for multiple days.

While things seem to be relatively chill at the honkpocalypse I wanted to post some local copies of Tireroaster's Garage videos of the convoy drive, since they're great:

last 2 were giving me grief to upload so I had to do webm, hopefully they work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The guy in the RV who had a run with the masked cop who wouldn't ID himself is still there. Guess he was right about them not being able to tow his rig.
And notice the line is barely any truckers. 4 wheelers showing up in their cars to HONK now.

NGL I am mad jelly of his setup.

The funniest part of this is that some of these bugmen expect the same Canadian Army that can barely get funding and serviceable equipment to come and stop the truckers.

You literally need to provide proof of residence and income to 90% of most food banks in Canada. They picked one of the few you do not. They ask for this proof for exactly this reason. They are not homeless, they are not unemployed. They took advantage of a social support that existed for the citizens that live there. And a handful of you believe this to be untrue because a person at the shelter in Ottawa announced the closure.
Who knew Canada was such a fascist hellscape that you need to provide proof of residence and income at 90% of the food banks

Here in the United States anyone can go to a food bank and get some food no proof of anything required because we're not unproductive heartless pieces of shit, we're happy to give out boxes of free food to anyone who wants some 🤷‍♂️
