The thing with Ralph is, he's probably got a lot of issues - but I don't think any of them rise to the level of a full blown personality disorder. Plus, it's quite clear that his erratic behaviour is linked heavily to his misuse of social media and abuse of substances. Both of which have warped his mind.

I think the closest thing you could pin on him is NPD, but I don't think his narcissistic traits are that extreme. Some Anti-social personality disorder is in there too mind you, even a bit of sociopathy. In short, he's a self obsessed piece of shit.

Yet while I doubt he would ever be a good person, I think that without the substance abuse, a healthier lifestyle (including less social media use) and a real job that gives his a schedule, Ralph would be far more sane, and far less mean spirited and destructive.
 
You know how in a video game when your health bar gets low there is a warning chime. That's what happened to Ralph.

Benzodiazepines are the gold standard for treating alcohol withdrawal since they affect the same receptors as ethanol. Valium aka diazepam is one of them specifically used for that purpose.
