The only mods on that subreddit are MyNameIsGriffon and PT himself. It's possible that Griffon deleted the comments — he's been active in the last day, when the comments would have been deleted — but I'm amused by the idea that it might have been Olly, fuming tight-lipped with banhammer in hand as he does on stream whenever the chat says something disagreeable.

Either way, by the looks of his Tumblr, he's clearly rattled. I'm just surprised that this is the thing that provoked a response from him. The Breadtube sub has been complaining about his content-thin, presenter-focused videos for a while now; you'd think someone who makes a living from this stuff would have seen the warning signs and adjusted accordingly. Maybe he doesn't care about casual viewers as much as his core (paying) fans. Seems he's finally been forced to recognize that he's bleeding those too, though getting vocally salty about people noticing his narcissism isn't an especially convincing move into a gentler, more compassionate persona.

Every singe piece of info we have , we were given by PT and then did like two clicks max from the first google term search to expand on.

So this is apparently his reasoning for only boosting his own work when people ask for media recommendations. I feel like this could be sidestepped by writing some sort of short preface about how the media you're about to recommend isn't perfect and how this is just your opinion/something you enjoy. You could also ask for your tumblr followers to recommend shows in the replies, that way boosting engagement and making your followers feel like part of a community.
Olly already discusses kids cartoons he likes so I don't understand if he only feels cautious when it comes to other forms of media?

so, there's been a lot more controversial ones today, but i find it interesting that all the ones that were deleted yesterday were ones mentioning the terrible behaviour on tumblr.
