Nailed it. They'll stage a bunch of troops in the far edge of Ukraine no where near any possible Russian aggression and after a week declare mission accomplished. Followed by all the shills in the MSM and social media flooding with posts about how Biden stopped Russian aggression in the Baltics once and for all and how "Biden stared Putin down and Putin blinked first!", And anyone who calls this out as bullshit will be labeled a Russian bot and banned.

These people legitimately think reality doesn't matter and they can convince people of anything. Just look at all the stories about how great the economy is doing under Biden, and don't believe you're lying bank account the economy has never been this good.

It only took me a two years to pay mine off since I qualified for financial aid. I worked 2 jobs, and limited my spending money to $150 per week, and made payments twice a month. For the last 6-7 months I was receiving bills of $0.00 because I paid more than the minimum and outpaced the interest that would've incrued.
 
Yeah well Biden has had a lot of legal victories it just that media won't report on them.

It is a bit hard for me to feel sorry for student loan debtors. The three people I know who push for debt forgiveness the most all received financial aid that covered the vast majority of their tuition, but they still took out nearly $100k in student loans anyways because they thought it was free money to fuck around and party with.
 
I just want to point out if Kamala Harris becomes the next judge in the Supreme Court, it will be more proof that we live in an aristocracy, not a constitutional republic.

Well, I suppose Hamilton would be proven right in his idea that the US would have an aristocracy, but I think he'd tear out some throats seeing our "aristocrats" if he rose from the grave.

I've seen some whining about the child tax credit ending, but from the usual suspects.

The whole student loan thing leaves me a little conflicted. I know people who got good degrees, then the fucking job market crashed on them or their job started the H1 visa bullshit or the manufacturing got outsourced, so they had a little trouble with the loans. Then I know the people who used their student loans to party and go on trips and buy fucking cars with who are now crying that now that the party is over someone has to pay the bill.

I do know that when a family member started having heart issues recently despite only being in their 20's, a runner, and previously in good health, she called the place she deals with for her student loans and now they're walking her through wiping out her debt because she worked in the medical field for 3 years. She was an 'essential worker' during the part of Covid when everyone hid indoors, so the bank is working with her.

I know someone else who literally can't be assed to go online and look up if they qualify for repayment assistance and literally can't be assed to look for an animation job to go with their 4 year animation degree.

So, yeah, kind of see both sides.

And if you REALLY want free education, well... the recruiter's right there. You pays yo money you takes yo chances.
