It never happens. I doubt any toddler has ever made a cognizant declaration that they are "in the wrong body" in the entire history of humanity.

This is always -- absolutely 100% always -- a fantasy of the parent(s). Munchausen's by proxy, using the most vulnerable and defenseless people available as the proxies. It's fucking disgusting, and the parents that do this are among the foulest human beings on earth.

I can't even begin to imagine what must go through the head of every poor father out there whose children get trooned out by their mothers. You can't even fight it; you either have to sit back and watch it happen silently with a shit-eating grin (even speaking up at all about it can get you a speedy divorce, lost custody, etc.), or start putting people in the ground -- mother included -- (in minecraft) and turn yourself in knowing you gave your kid a fighting chance to be normal.

A small child saying they want to be the other sex isn’t implausible: they have an older sibling or cousin they want to be, they have a younger sibling they’re jealous of, they like toys or clothing associated with the other sex, etc. This isn’t abnormal. Also, not a reason to trans your kid.

From what I’ve seen, some of them really are narcissistic munchies, but others are just… extremely dumb and gullible. Their child expresses some innocent “gender nonconforming” behavior, they remember from reading online articles that Smart People have said that this means their child is trans, they take the child to a gender therapist (who must be Smart, why else would they have a job and get glowing articles written about their profession on fancy websites?), the therapist tells them that their child is trans. They join “trans child” support groups because that’s what Good Parents do. The people in the support group tell them that anyone who disagrees or questions their decision is an evil bigot. They buy a bunch of t-shirt with “Ally” and “Mama bear” written on them in trans flag colors. They sleep well at night knowing that they are doing what Experts Recommend Is Best For Their Trans Child.

I am not comfortable solely blaming individual parents for this: some people really are just morons who don’t question shit, and people like that will always be around. The issue is these dumb bastards being lied to by entire industries that want to make money off them, and no one with the authority to do so pushing back against that. This shouldn’t be happening.

Where I work, we do a discount for women and girls on Wednesday. I'm in the office today, and a man called. It was obvious he was a man because of his voice. Anyway, his exact wording "Do you offer the discount to trans girls?" Not trans women, but specifically called himself a trans girl, despite him clearly being an adult male (and didn't even bother to make his voice sound feminine). I wanted to so badly say, "Nope. Only biological females." But I did not want him going all "IT'S MA'AM!!" on me, nor do I want the company to get harassed by TRAs, and honestly, felt he called in hopes I would indeed tell him no so he could chimp out.
Fucking troons. Though I'm curious if he'll show up tomorrow, just to see if he looks like the average AGP we post on here. At least me and my coworkers can have a good laugh, and hopefully, seeing this dude calling himself a woman will peak some of them.

Jesus christ, troons are willing to mutilate any part of their body (except the penis of course). As someone who hates the dentist, I am baffled why you'd want to fuck with your teeth just to make them more "feminine". It's still going to look off, especially paired with your male mouth and lips.

I shudder to think what dentist/orthodontist was crazy enough (or coerced) to remove all of someone's teeth and give them "feminine teeth". I'm saving up for a dental implant and I know it's going to cost shitloads, but an entire set? Please tell me these are just removable dentures.

Sure, they may say it, but note I said "cognizant" -- meaning they understood exactly what they were saying, i.e. wanted their genitals changed and know it involves years of drugs and surgery to do so. No two year old understands what he's asking for if he tells his teacher he wishes he was a girl.

They're trying to make reference to a fallacy of definition. The point here is the idea that TERFs provide definitions that are overly broad and can apply to multiple things (humans who menstruate= trans men and cis women!) as though they have formal logic on their side, except they have to really stretch the semantics to make it work. This is also ignoring that their own definitions of gender are essentially tautologies now. The good thing about implants is that once the implant part is in you can do the rest of the work on your own schedule, and since the process takes several appointments across several months due to healing times that helps with the sticker shock. Still looking at a big bill, but not all at once.

I can't imagine any dentist pulling all their teeth, unless the teeth were already in very bad condition, or the patient was up there in years. Losing teeth means bone loss in that area, which will deform your face and weaken your jaw over time. Bridges and dentures do nothing to stop that obviously, so most dentists recommend implants if you lose multiple teeth, because implants help reduce (but doesn't prevent) bone loss. Most of the bone loss occurs the first year, with the majority being done over the first five.
