A lot of good polish suggestions here, but they're still falling into the groove of their show. This is all probably best filed under "lessons learned for next time"So it occurs to me that this could have been easily improved and a lot of the short comings fixed if the boys could have done a little prep work. Just generally they were filling time which killed the flow of the show however it would have been easy enough to tell some jokes which considering the subject should have been an easy slam dunk. However there were some issues that with very minimal effort could have turned some of the slower parts of the show into something both funny and in keeping with the Kasino theme.
1. Augie video is switched to a cold open sidestepping the tone and pacing issues of playing it after the hype intro
2. Mint Salad fight is played up as a Vegas prize fight. Andy does the interview, the questions are kept short and sweet and focused on how a small woman beat the tar out of Ralph. PPP in a Don King wig as mint's manager cuts a promo on Ralph towards the end
3. Completely cut the cringe music Warski did and instead the boys play a round of Roulette to determine the parentage of baby Xander. A very simple video animation of a roulette table is shown(I could mock this up in about 20 minutes including Editing the faces in) Red spaces are various E-celebs and black spaces are replaced by random pictures of black dudes. PPP wins by betting on Diddler Dax and Andy loses his shirt due to betting on black 13.
4. Actually think up interview questions instead of asking everyone why they hate Ralph and getting long winding autistic answers.
5. fold the music segments into blocks and have the boys dance and hypeman to the music removing the painful dead air after every song
6. fold the cog and bryan segment into one and make them sacrificial lambs giving them about 5 minutes to say something funny before the boys begin alogging them live.
7. No lead up in the Jesse PS segment. A shot of Ralph's house is shown and then a quick pan down to show Jesse sliding the diapers onto the property. He gives the camera a thumbs up and drives away honking. Even PPP was disappointed by this segment so please don't tell me it was Kino.
8. Ronnie Ralph, Porsalin and the assorted bit and bobs are moved up to the start of the show. Porsalin interviewed first for context, then play the doc trailer then discuss for a better flow.
9. Foreign intro lady also does occasional announcements letting casino patrons know that an ugly horse has been left in the parking lot and summoning a clean up crew to poker table 8 due to a patron shitting himself.
I just feel like a lot of small details were missed when it really would have been quite easy to have a few of these up their sleeves instead of recapping gunt lore between segments they could have popped a few comedic gags in to keep the laughs going.
One thing I will give them is they clearly listened to criticism and at least tried to rectify it during the show so I figure actually voicing more criticism can do nothing but help. I'm not a yesman Golem cares.A lot of good polish suggestions here, but they're still falling into the groove of their show. This is all probably best filed under "lessons learned for next time"
bryan buddy gamergate was 7 years ago time to let it go[You know this though or youd just share those two ralph bullshit articles here since you believe ralph is True & Honest who never lies or runs gay ops or does horrible things(protip: he does. Cope)
Jesse is unpredictable sometimes (also very predictable other times) but I can see why he didn't tell anyone. 1. Ralph could find out and be waiting by the door with shotgun, 2. Andy could've been like "Nooo don't goo to his house" and ruined the bit before it happened. Is it too much to ask that a 6 hour show has some planning and coordination?
> do something borderline illegal
> do light trespassing
any trespassing is illegal my guy. they wanted Jesse to do more but he had restraint because he's the one who's actually in front of Ralph's house. jesse's bit was one of the highlights and warski & PPP said as much.
So don't hype it up and rely on someone you aren't sure can deliver? I think Andy and PPP probably knew. I can't imagine Jesse just saying "just trust me it'll be awesome" and them just believing that without having some idea of his plan.Jesse is unpredictable sometimes (also very predictable other times) but I can see why he didn't tell anyone. 1. Jesse only put a sticker in his news paper box because he was afraid of getting in trouble. He didn't even stick it on.So don't hype it up and rely on someone you aren't sure can deliver? As it stands it has somewhat cemented the show as a pale retread of previous Ralph alogging as objectively the jokes weren't as fresh, the news wasn't new and the IRL section wasn't even taken as far as it was last time when Jesse at least had the nuts to put a sticker on his house.
Did you watch the segment with Jesse? Watch it again. Firstly, you can clearly see the outline of someone in the window watching them from the 2nd story, and Jesse even said so as much that "Ralph was watching".The biggest mistake of the entire night was Jesse backing down from ringing the doorbell. You can't get charged with trespassing for ringing a doorbell unless you have already been officially "trespassed" by the cops. Think of the Perpetual Kino Machine that would have been created by Jesse ringing the doorbell.
They were handed a golden opportunity but they pussied out and blew it.
- Ralph was live at the time, so his audience would have heard the doorbell ringing on The Killstream
- Ralph would have physically reacted to his doorbell being rung on his own stream
- Andy had the footage from Jesse's side of the encounter, and the footage from both streams could have easily been edited together
I completely disagree with your opinion of Andy's songs. They were awesome.
Well whatever he went on the property and this time he did less than that so I don't consider it terribly amazing.Jesse only put a sticker in his news paper box because he was afraid of getting in trouble. He didn't even stick it on.
Gunt will probably use the Moviebob weight loss method: slowly commit suicide through untreated beetus, stress and seething.Having said that, I really hope that Ralph loses the weight because it would be hilarious.
Who cares it was still funny and look at the reaction from Ralph. The whole stream was decent and definitely was better than people expected it to be.Well whatever he went on the property and this time he did less than that so I don't consider it terribly amazing.
No it wasn't.Who cares it was still funny
The Jesse segment was, in fact, the worst part of the night. Fucking guy went into a character assassination thinking he was a morning zoo DJ with a truly stupid "I am your son, Ethan" premiseNo it wasn't.
Jesse really needs to study the law if he's going to continue to do IRL A-logging, otherwise there's no point in doing it at all. None of what he did is illegal, but he backs down "just in case." That's bullshit, Jesse, and you know it. You need to learn exactly what you can and cannot do legally.Jesse only put a sticker in his news paper box because he was afraid of getting in trouble. He didn't even stick it on.
I'm proud warski knows how to write a shanty.https://youtube.com/watch?v=2XXbtQ1jMQUSay No To Geno shares a mix of "Friends for Never" that is much more polished than the one on the stream. I don't know why they didn't use this one it's much better.
Harassment is what they would get him on.Jesse really needs to study the law if he's going to continue to do IRL A-logging, otherwise there's no point in doing it at all. 1) It's not trespassing if you haven't been officially trespassed by a LEO.
2) Vandalism is PERMANENT defacement of property. Stickers are removable. Chalk is removable. This is why you often see "vandalism" done in chalk, because you can't get in trouble for it.
The only thing that Jesse has to worry about is (possibly) Criminal Harassment, but since The Gunt is actively engaging in a full-blown sperg war on the internet, it's going to be very difficult to make that argument believable.
Get a law book, Jesse. You've got potential, but you're going to fuck it up by pussying out of obtaining Kino.
