I was legit blown away when I checked McIntosh's channel. I hadn't dropped in since he split with Anita years ago, and here he is getting a million-plus views on his videos. I'm almost tempted to check one out...can't be any worse than Jim's content or the shit he did on Feminist Frequency (which still has shit numbers btw lol).
There is without a doubt a lot of fiction that has ideological underpinnings or motivations, and it's often easy to tell with certain authors what their politics are even if they aren't overt about it in their writing (latter-day Stephen King is particularly bad for this) but this insistence that every single story
has to have a deeper meaning only the smartest of Redditors can divine always makes me think of this:

It's fun to discuss these things casually, but the people who screech the loudest about it seem to approach it the same way Race Realists approach genetics: They already have a foregone conclusion in mind and don't care about the subject matter; it's just a means to an end to push their ideology or show off how smart they think they are.
Jim himself is really bad for doing this, although rather than works of fiction it's the system of Capitalism he likes to attribute a bunch of [citation needed] shit to.
