I just want to laugh at retards. That's all. Guess I have a new one to laugh at now. Thanks for putting your name out there asshole.

I noticed that Xenforo works better depending on the size of the forum. Pretty stupid that that they can revoke a persons license based on what some British midget has to say during his endless autistic crusade against a forum. Hopefully the new Rust version of the site wont have so many issues.

Why specifically Rust? It's a great language, and very powerful, but it seems like overkill for this kind of thing. Not to mention the extremely limited developer pool could make it hard to find devs. C++ might net better results because of how ubiquitous it is while still being more than fast enough to write forum software with. You could probably get away with C# too.

Really as long as it's not PHP it'll be an improvement. You could probably make a webserver in Visual Basic and it'd suck less.
Rust in this case is used in place of PHP, and C++/C# are not PHP replacements.

does this mean we get an "activate XenForo " on every page we go?

Edit: goddamit josh it was a joke, i cant bully people on this forum with this gigantic thing on my screen

Very interesting, why do companies always do this to their largest audiences?
Because the old, out of touch bommers/aged gen X'ers didn't grow up with the internet, thus they have a very inaccurate opinion of online bitching.

Talking to the company men it becomes very apparent they believe twitter mobs are much like those angry letters to TV orgs in the 90s: Every tweet metric should be multiplied by 10-100x in order to find out how many people feel that way. Thus, they accept kooky weirdo input as if it represents workaday customers, when it's absolute nonsense.

It would be funny if Null would become a legit business on the back of a Xenforo replacement software.
Migrations provided for a nominal fee...

Also: Richard M. Stallman was right again.

It means that on every page you will have to press 1, 2 or 3.
