Cross-company Among Us collab. Nijisanji, Holostars, AniMare, and Indies like Tenjin Kotone (who recently played with RBC and HoloID) and Asano Ruri (who recently announced she got a job as a VA).

That's not a scam, that's standard operational method for these type of schools. There's a reason why new talents are paid peanuts for years and have to survive with part-time jobs. Hell, even senior ones have to rely on discreet extra gigs to pay for bills

Not just Yoshimoto, but also Johnny's and other companies (not to mention SK ones that are getting popular because of K-Pop). I am still a bit skeptical about it though. VTubers are still very young compared to Geinin/Comedian and Idols (yes Idols have decades old history). This is a very bold and risky move for a medium that is still uncertain of its future stability (on a pessimistic view). And again, this sort of thing is usually more suited for Geinin/Idol companies with its restrictions because of contract. It might run against Niji's more free approach to streaming that everyone believed in.

Is Keeki, people is telling her that she should have just block him on the spot and ignore him, she is using her simps to mass report him that is more effective, you cant blame her for using the resources at hand

I don't really see how it goes against Nijisanji's M.O. tbh.

Even if we ignore that VTA and Nijisanji aren't actually one and the same, Nijisanji members are still held to the same ethical restrictions and etiquette of V-Tubing culture as any other (can't bring up past/real identities, can't break NDA, can't play stuff without permission etc), and they still need that 'something' that makes them stand out.

Anycolor taking 9 people who could be artists, singers, good at certain games, naturally funny etc, giving them a platform, and having first dibs on bringing them into Nijisanji means they stand to benefit from it just as much as Hololive would if they did it.
