Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Oh, let me take some time out of my fun Wednesday night to relay my own experience with testing the absentee ballot system here in NYC for the mayoral race.

So, all I need to do to vote by mail was

-Go to this website: https://nycabsentee.com/absentee
-Type in my name, birthday, zip code, borough. Literally, that's all I needed.
-Gave the excuse that I would not be inside the county during the election, but there were a variety of other possible excuses like affliction with COVID-19, permanent illness / physical disability, actually come to think of it I still have the screenshot somewhere so let me fetch it


and then I could choose where to mail it


Of course, I went with the option to mail it to my address. And....thats literally all I needed to fucking do! The whole process could have taken less than 60 seconds. My ballot arrived just a couple days later, and I filled it out, then took the train to drop it off at my local board of elections. I didn't need to prove my identity when I dropped it in the box.

No need to provide my SSN, no need to provide proof that I was not going to be here during the election, etc. That fucking easy.

So, I know the the names&birthdays and can at least guess the zip-code after some Googling of quite a few people I know.

One of them no longer lives in NYC, but another county in New York State. I typed in her name and birthday and zipcode and borough (she used to dorm here so I could easily look it up), then saw that I could EASILY ask for her ballot to be mailed to my address.

Another has lived in Massachusetts for at least three years now. I did the same, forgot her birthday but I easily looked that up on facebook. Then saw that I could also easily ask for her ballot to be mailed to my address. No questions asked. Sure, mayyybe if I requested that it be sent to another address, mayyyybee they would have tried calling the person (assuming they had their number? which come to think of it they probably don't!), but they didn't bother contacting me when I requested mine!

It's that easy to cheat in our elections with mass mail in voting. And NYC is currently trying to pass a law by ballot measure where you don't even need to give an excuse (e.g that I won't be in the county during the election) to request a ballot.

LOL at anyone who thinks there "wasn't enough fraud to change the outcome of the election"

The big theory is that Biden was counting on passing the executive orders forcing companies to force people to vax, knowing it would be overturned but that companies would rush the deadline and effectively bully/threaten/extort a decent enough number of employees to get the vax before anyone can file lawsuits staying the forced vaxing.

They know that sane judges will throw that shit out; the endgame is that ENOUGH people will be so fucking terrified of losing their job (especially as a lot of places are now making you banned from getting unemployment if you are fired for refusing to be vaxed) during the brief window between it being announced and the lawsuits being filed and injunctions being filed to stop it. THAT's the real goal. That enough people are living hand to mouth, fear being made into an unperson on all levels financially via banned from getting unemployment, and don't have the cash or a union willing to fight for them, that they'll bend over and let Biden and the pro-vax ilk anally rape them into getting the vax. They know it will get thrown out or companies will backpeddle if they don't want to be sued/lose in court, but so long as enough people are cowed and threatened to get it, it's a victory and the victory they were aiming for the entire time
 
Slightly offtopic, and this is definite quitter talk that I should immediately stop since "I won't take the jab because I was mandated to do so" is my Schelling fence.

Most of the jabs are experimental rDNA bullshit, with at least one of them being made/tested/createdwith/whatever human fetal tissue. But I hear the J&J vax is just your bog standard "get some of the disease in a petri dish and microwave it so it's dead" style traditional vax? And that one counts as a vax for Biden's press-release-mandate, right?

Just trying to anticipate counterarguments to my "fuck you I won't take a medical procedure so some pedophile who stole a national election can brag about making us do it" demand for an exemption.

One theory I heard, think it was the_donald or Rekieta, maybe his chat, is the idea is that if they can just force enough people into getting the jab, then support for people opposed to taking it will vanish. "I took it why can't you," or what have you. They just need to get that first burst to create the social pressure required to force the rest into compliance.

Of course, this ignores the whole "Americans like freedom" thing, but to be fair they've been trying to breed that out of us, and in the bugman hives those types live in freedom is just another word for "fascist trying to fight diversity and waste our resources."

Then there's this greentext that hit the_doanld:

In my experience the commissaries are always short on goods. More and more vets are using base access to get things without paying state taxes. It's worth the long trip for me once a month to get goods on base than at a big box store.

That's what I do. Take the truck, have my kids come along, load up the fucking carts and the truck with about $800-$1000 in food. Don't come back for a month.

That, and hit up the local butcher. I gave my wife a budget of $400, figuring that it wouldn't be that much based on prices at the stores for meat.

Hit a First World Problem.

I almost didn't have the freezer space for all the food.

My family used to do this, we'd roadtrip to Shute once a month when I was a kid. I always really liked it. I have a lot of fond memories of going to Schute with my dad for other shit, too. Probably aren't allowed to let kids sit in the pilots seat of aircraft and pose for a picture with an M16 nowadays, let alone giving him an ammo vest that had several live rounds in it. Good times.

No Johnson & Johnson is still gene therapy. It uses DNA to program your body to make spike protein, whereas Pfizer and Moderna use mRNA.

They kept calling it "more traditional" but it is nothing of the sort. It comes in an Adenovirus (not Coronavirus). They can correctly say it's an inactivated virus, but it's very misleading because there is very new gene therapy stuck inside the unrelated virus.
