Yeah, it just seemed like it because instead of his usual ramblings and terms, he mostly starts using stuff from the bible, meaning it either overwrote his normal blue heart crap, or completely pushed it aside.

Given how open he is in the letter it’s hard to imagine he wasn’t that open with the cops, so they’ve probably already heard it and it’s not that much worse.

At this point, until he's killed, dead, or locked away for the rest of his life, I'm forced to watch the rest of Christory, just to see whether or not shit could actually get worse than it currently is.
