Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I imagine the US Failure of withdrawal in afghanistan is also playing a role. Biden is being knocked left and right and France wanted in on the headline action. You can say its about subs but its also about making Biden look foolish.

This isn't really unprecedented. France was pretty hostile to America during the Iraq War era too, funnily enough the coalition was these exact same 3 countries (plus Poland and the Kurds)

What is the situation with that cough and is it a concern?”

This Clown Car has no breaks. Week after week since Afghanistan it has been nothing but a shitshow and the Resident just keeps running away. Now strawberry shortcake is taking a page from him and running away, too. The unmitigated hubris of the deep state turds and all others involved in ousting the Orange Man had them actually believing that they could save the US from the wuflu and amass an almost inexhaustible amount of political capital. They should have let the election play out and if the Orange Man won, he would have been dealing with all of this. Whether he would have done better, we can only speculate now, but this death by a thousand cuts the current admin and establishment are experiencing simply cannot be worth it. It's a daily pure, uncut schadenfreude drip for me.

Yes, but my point is that they decided to rely on Texas local law enforcement as a sort of legal cover to decide to want to report on this. I disagree it would have been an optics nightmare. I don't know why you think that would make Texas look bad since they had nothing to do with FAA regulations especially considering they seem all too happy to help these reporters violate them.

Fox has an obligation to do its best to avoid getting its journalists in trouble. This was an easy workaround. It'd not be an optics nightmare, but it would be a bad practice to go "hey, get in trouble for our ratings".
