Feedback Why the fuck do we have "sponsored posts" now

Not sure if this has been discussed: If a user has been declared a disruptive user, I assume this means they have had certain privileges on this website taken away and mocked with a pink triangle. Why would this punishment not include removing the ability to create sponsored posts? I am all for quality, but do we allow this because its something thats overlooked, or is their money as green as non-disruptive users?

Half the sponsored posts are shit-flinging contests as it is. Plus, if you don't like their sponsored post you can just refresh the page, lol.

I second this, I'm not even mad that someone keeps spamming the assertion about Andy Warski and CP. I'm mad that they're sponsoring a post with the banner containing the allegation linked to the first post in the thread, ergo nothing to do with the allegation. It just makes the whole thing vaccuous and incredibly faggy.
