The Sutherland Springs shooting did get a tragically higher kill count, but it was also interrupted by a civilian with a gun, who then waved down a motorist to chase down the dying suspect.

Once the third person pulled their gun I sort of expected this to descend into a chaotic bloodbath but, no, Good Guy With A Gun meme confirmed. Also I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that it looked like freaking six other people also brought their sidearms to church.

Also big F for the fat dude lounging in one of the chairs who I suspect was the one confirmed kill. You can see him drag his coat aside and reach for his own gun right before he takes lead and falls away. I'll see if I can screenshot it if I'm not too late to the party here.

Of course you never know who else might've been packing but didn't draw. 6 is a fairly light number for some of the churches in that area.
 
Also anyone who can get information on whether my man was the one killed or it was the dude next to him who also takes a shot to the face would be much appreciated. He definitely goes down but I'm interested to know if that's in the permanent sense.

IIRC there were two victims (3 deaths, total)- one guy got blasted at the start out of nowhere and the other was the gent you're probably talking about who tried to draw down but didn't make it. Looked like he gets hit center-mass from the mist; from a shotgun that wouldn't be survivable if it happened in a trauma center. Then boomer draws and takes out the shitbag with one headshot.

Then everyone else wakes the fuck up.
 
Somehow, what bothers me most about the reporting is how many news articles say .12 gauge. One or two, fine, whatever. But it's like... all of them. Did not a single person at any of these press outlets stop and think "wait, that can't be right"?

All you need to do is watch this clip and this interview and you'll understand that journalists know absolutely fucking nothing about guns. That interview is especially horrible, or hilarious, depending on your point of view.

During the World Cup last year one of these idiots was bitching on Twitter that the Australian team was too white. I replied pointing out our all-time high scorer is of Samoan descent, our winger and defender are both of middle eastern descent, another winger is of African descent and the rest of the team have roots in Eastern Europe. That's money laundering, actually. You see, the various colleges are REQUIRED to pay access to those studies, and once they get power they force the schools to funnel money to Grievence Studies programs.

So there's incentive for the system to encourage these types to constantly create worthless research so the system can constantly funnel tax dollars to the diversity industry.

A lot of people here don't seem to understand that this church had an armed security team, that was trained by the hero guy. Most if not all of the armed men were that team.

I'm wondering if there's a chance this idiot was just thinking he could rob the deacon for a quick buck during the service. And the disguise was because he knew the deacon could later identify him because he had been given charity by this church before. But he didn't realize that the church had an armed security team.
