What's your religion?

Serious question. I'm thinking of joining the Baptist church. Currently I'm officially without any religion. Left the roman catholic church many years ago. I definitely want to avoid terroristic cults like Islam. The only normal one's left are either Christianity or Buddhism, I guess.

Joining a church is different from holding religious beliefs. You are already religious; so why do you need a church to go with it?

Evangelical without the evangelist part. My new pastor legit thinks dinosaurs walked amongst humans. Not in bird sense, but in Flintstones sense. I've started going back to the RCC because at least they don't think that G-d created the Grand Canyon during the Great Flood, and that the whole erosion process took two months. RC G-d mostly seems to follow His own rules of physics.

How did your family react when you came out to them?

My mom was a little surprised, but came around. My dad still believes being gay is a sin but hasn’t disowned me or anything like that, we still have a pretty good relationship despite our disagreement on it. My siblings were pretty accepting, especially my sister.

A unique form of Christianity. I'm based on looking at records of the past and try to piece them together and there are so many heretics who claim to be Christian so if gods destroys a church, it's likely because heretics own that church.

Kind of the opposite. Neither of my parents are religious so we never went to church when I was a kid. They were both raised in different denominations of Christianity but only went because their parents forced them to go.
