His point is still utterly retarded: "L'Ancien Regime Aesthetic" is a completely nonsensical term. The Ancien Regime spanned some 200 years with fashion and art styles en vogue in that time period. As per usual, Rudyard is just summarizing an entire period based on some stupid pop history he saw. The analogy also makes no sense at all:

1. Modern pop music is similiarly degenerate to the Ancien Regime
2. Modern pop music unintentionally uses similiar aesthetics to the Ancien Regime
3. Oh the irony!

Not only is the whole "Similiar Aesthetics"-Premise utter bullshit, so is the "Similiar Degeneracy"-Premise. Rudyard just loves broad stroke history and cultural analysis and hates getting into details.

Given that Musk had made both the left hate him by taking away their primary propaganda organ, and now the right hate him by back-stabbing Trump in a fit of pique, having Rudy Tuesday as a political consultant would mean a perfect political lolcow storm is about to break over America.
