You know? It's probably been a bit too long since I watched a Rudyard video. Now I can't stand listening to his doomerism at all, so there's that.


Rudyard isn't aware that Brazil reinstated Twitter in this video. He also stands by his belief that school and homework are just as bad as work; now, maybe I've grown up a bit too curmudgeonly, but claiming that teenagers work over 13 hours a day because they choose to have a job after school (or because they're bad at homework) is ludicrous.

Then Rudyard claims that he says there will be blood on the streets in the 2024 election so that you know he's "not a charlatan", right after claiming that we're in the boring sort of cyberpunk dystopia where nothing ever happens due to Karens. Apparently, attention-mongering by claiming there's going to be a massive civil war does not make you a charlatan. Good to know. I thought you just had to be a proven liar who couldn't keep their own story straight.

But how will one "Brave the Wave"? Well, Rudyard has given up. He burned himself out. Oops. Now he's just gonna sit in the pod he rents as a digital nomad, and relax as the death squads claim him. If it does kill him, he'll feel vindicated in being the broken clock who was right exactly once (or maybe even twice). If nothing happens, he'll do an apology video, allegedly.

Also, Rudyard doesn't write books because he assumes no one has an attention span outstripping his own, and not because he's lazy and borderline-illiterate.

It's his sheltered no experience fantasy, like any edgy 15 year old, that shit is going to hit the fan and the normies will suddenly realise he's useful, because while they were partying and having sex, he studied the blade. I bet the skinny pastey arm Rudy can't, and doesn't even shoot.

It's even funnier considering this is 2024. If he were saying this in and about 2020, I could understand and even empathize. But the guy is saying this in a post-2020 world.

If he does have a gun, it's a 22LR of some sort. So a plinker/trainer. Fit for hunting squirrels and such and having fun at the range since basically no recoil. Not my first choice for a CIVIL WAR like he rants about. Every single piece of body armor in existence is rated against it. But hey, ammo is cheap amirite?

Rudyard is not the common foot solider in his rotted out mind. He's the general barking out orders so what does he need a gun for? After all he thinks he's "one of like three people who can influence the right wingers".

A gun for him is to hang on the wall and look nice, if he has one at all. That's why I said a 22, because there are nice looking 22's with full wood furniture and just that extra bit of polish that are in no way suited for combat. That is how I see Rudy and guns. In essence, a fudd.
 
In fairness, when Rudyard speaks of "we may experience a civil war" or "the far right incel revolution is coming" I don't necessarily think he's endorsing those things or saying he wants them to happen so much as he's simply making predictions. That doesn't mean I think his predictions are right of course, just that him saying that I think is different from wishing it to happen and hoping to fight violently for it. Of course maybe some part of him does subconciously want it but I don't like to put words in other peoples mouths.
