Bob's been dead for almost a decade. His will has already been enacted; Barb got everything. Barb, although mentally ill, is a human being with her own autonomy, property, and legal affairs.

Also, Chris isn't going to do something like that. He has a panic attack and calls 911 if Snorlax doesn't pick up when he checks up on her while he's out of the house.
 
Do you guys think that what ever banks/creditors Chris and Barb owe money to will bother coming after him to collect after Barb goes to the big CWCville mall in the sky or do you think they'll write it off cause they know they'll never get their money back? I suppose theres the slight possibility his relatives/half siblings could step in and bail him out but if they haven't done that thus far I don't see why they ever will.

I assume that after Bob's funeral, the successful children cut the Chandlers off especially due to different lifestyles

I know that Barb's son in NY (Cole I think his name was?) cut ties cause Barb refused to validate his theory about who his real dad is. As for Bob's kids his daughter didn't even show up to his funeral and as far as I'm aware Chris has never had any contact with her and his son the ophthalmologist hasn't had any contact since Chris had that appointment with him one time, where Chris found out he has a half niece, although I'm guessing that meeting happened just because of it being his job and not because of any familial ties. He seems like the best if only candidate to bail Chris out if he faces debtors prison. Even though the amounts they owe don't seem that insignificant, considering hes a sort of medical professional I'm sure he could cover it. Seems like a one in a million shot though.

Edit: On second thought Chris has managed to survive for years by begging for money on facebook so I'm sure if he was knee deep in shit and facing homelessness over his debts theres enough enablers out there willing to help and defend this poor helpless honest and true trans woman from being kicked out on the street

I also assume estrangement is a better alternative than dealing with Chris' tard rage and delusions.
Imagine if any of them saw the "FAMILY NEEDS FAMILY" video on his YouTube...

Bob's son is old enough to be considered a boomer so he might not be tech savy enough to know of Chris' internet infamy. But if he does know, either by discovering it himself or someone else telling him about it, I'm sure like any sane person he'd stay the fuck away, being cautiously paranoid that any attempt to look into Chris' internet history might cause his presence to be noticed somehow and the whole shitstorm will come his way.

Yeah I remember reading that post from the girl who went bowling with him and he was repeatedly physical with her even after she said she wasn't comfortable with that, culminating with Chris hugging her while she was sat in her car with no where to run and straight up pushed his face into her tits.
Ultimately it will either fall to the enablers or @Null to save Chris from his financial irresponsibility rather than his family.

Also, forgive me if I'm way off the mark, I'm not American so I wouldn't know. But I get the impression that since moving to different states/cities seems rather common for alot of Americans it seems much easier for even immediate siblings who were raised together to become distant and estranged, so that on top of the fucked up family dynamics of the Chandlers makes hopes of Chris' half brother helping are slim to none. But who knows, maybe he does and he'll subsequently get his own Sonichu incarnation.

Debt cannot be inherited in the United States. Barb's debts will be taken from whatever she has (i.e. 14BC) once she dies, and if that doesn't cover what she owes (it definitely will not), her creditors are shit out of luck.

Chris has nothing that creditors can take, and his SSDI can't be garnished. His creditors are shit out of luck.

Cole is not going to help Chris. David probably is not going to help Chris. Carol is not going to help Chris, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's never even met her.
