Not the prizes for his "raffle". He was trying to sell the shirts, cards, and figures at cost before that happened. $25 for a shirt or whatever plus shipping. He did not actually have any of the items, but was plaining to buy them later on (the next month, I think it was). The money was not going to be put aside so he could place the orders. Chris was going to spend it and then hopefully have money to buy the orders later. He does not think through the future costs. He has one big pot of money and only is concerned about having enough for whatever he needs to pay for.Are you using the shirts as an example of a situation where he didn't go forward and spend the money to fulfill his obligations?
He bought the shirts. He spent $700+ on them.
The "raffle" was an example of him spending more money than he brought in.
He likes the idea of a being a successful creative businesswoman, but he is not big on the work involved to become one. He does not appear to care after the bills are paid. Once that mother of his is off his back, he can focus on the important things in life.I think Chris does it more out of laziness and incompetence rather than anything else. He gets the money, immediately spends it, then he goes "hmm, now I have to make a medallion? and deliver it TOO?", he is getting a bit better at delivering, but he's still very bad at serving his customers, even now you can find people complaining on his Patreon or eBay about various snafus.
