Containment What will happen when Barb dies?

Well, if Chris really does have a girlfriend, when Barb dies (assuming Chris still has a GF by then) he'll probably:

A. Shit himself and do nothing
B. Transfer all his new reponsibilities to his GF, so he can sit around and play with Lego all day

Chrissy will no longer have anyone to spoon with.

How much does Barb do for him around the house? I assume she cleans and cooks, but I never read into it much.

Why did you assume that? Barb's been a millstone around the Chandler's necks for years. Bob and Chris always just went out to eat.

Dunno, just figured. Never read up much about her. More about Chris and his antics in public or troll things. I remember people called her snorlax though, heh
 
I feel like Chris financially ill be more than fine on his own after Barb passes away. There's his tugboat, he has his own pateron where people pay to see his autistic artwork. And then theres the e-begging which he just acts as our dancing monkey for a minute and walks away $50 richer. Even though he's autistic as all hell and no one in the right mind would want to be him, I'm actually quite jealous that he has it so easy in life. Sure he will grieve over Barb and I'm sure we will get all kinds of autism from that. But to think he' going to be broke and homeless shitting himself is almost absurd.

Financially? Possibly. He won't be fine in other ways. He will probably leave the house even less than before. He will likely also bathe even less than he already does because Barb won't be there to smell him and remind him every once and a while.

Why would you think that? She not only doesn't clean, she fills the house floor to ceiling with garbage as part of her hoarding, and she hasn't cooked since years before Bob died. Apparently, Bob and Chris had eaten out and were full, and she made spaghetti. She threw a huge tantrum when they wouldn't eat it and never cooked again.

She is a horrendous, useless cunt.

Oh absolutely. But all these nay sayers going on about this being the end of Chris because there's no stability in his life. If anything were likely to see more of him in full blown autistic force.
 
I feel like less will change than we think. Barb is as useless to Chris right now as Chris is to her, it's not like he can't survive without her. When she drops, Chris will be sad, but he won't break emotionally any more than he's already broken, since he's a very self-centered person who I don't think is entirely capable of love.

My guess is Chris will use his newfound freedom to turn the fag shit up to 11. Maybe he'll shoot up some hormones or lop the duck off, who knows. IMO the way he's acting now is a good indicator of how he'll act post-Barb, since she's is so sick and wasted away that she can't really influence Chris' actions anymore.
