The website has obituary’s of people that haven’t even died yet so it’s fake and more gay than James Charles F726F796-4EDA-4BE4-8F4E-28F489C605AD.jpeg

Bizarre language, use of "tie the knot". These obituary sites are infamous for accepting random shit without proof. No picture of Barb at all, nevermind once we haven't seen before.
I will edit the entry. It appears that this may be/probably is faked. Some sick faggy fuck also is pretending to be Chris, and this was posted nearly instantly after the news was dropped.

Sorry for being so quick to post, I wanted to break the news and I am clearly about as competent as Taylor Lorenz.

Edit: Nevermind, I got the message:

The time limit to edit this message (60 minutes) has expired.

Thanks Josh

Most likely fake, as everyone says. I can see this being real if it happens to be scraped/AI generated, since it does kind of read that way with how generic and weirdly-worded it is, and it seems like the kind of site that might do that. If that's not the case, though, definitely fake.
Yeh, this legit could be a case of AI.

A kid from my old High School recently died. He was a recent graduate and it was very sad that he passed so young, but his family wasn't famous or anything and they were very reserved. As far as I could tell, the only publication about his death (until the official obituary came out weeks later) came from a community post on an alumni/school page saying "A recent graduate has passed away. Here's a brief eulogy. We will host a memorial in the auditorium on Friday". Over the next few days, I Googled his name a few times to see if I could find a news article mentioning how he passed and there was not a single legitimate article about him. There are plenty of "News" articles saying "18 year old John Doe recently passed away". But all of them are clearly rehashings of the content scraped from the singular Facebook post on a niche public alumni group that maybe has 100 members.

What's worse is if you look up the name of who published the stories, all of the websites say that the "author" of the articles are reputable, local newspapers. So they're intentionally making them look novel.

The point of this post is to say - and I'm not lying in the slightest: This easily could've started as an "ironic" post on a FB group. Like there could be a public group out there called "Pretending we live in CWCVille" and one guy decided it would be funny to pretend that Barb died and wrote a brief (albeit realistic) eulogy. Then an AI scraper could've picked it up, thought that it was a legitimate death in the community, and wrote a bullshit article trying to get clicks.

Cheers to the post truth world boys!

Edit: I should throw out there that this post does not discount weenery. This is Chris. It's probably some retard's doing. Still - I wanted to share that this is becoming a problem.

Just for the record, I only posted what I saw on Telegram. This guy, Looney Tunes, is the guy that broke the news.

I'm pretty sure the Looney Toons started this hoax, attached for posterity to see. I would bet that he is the Joel Chandler that wrote the article, and there's a good chance he is Christine Chandler and Fortnite Fortnite who was making jokes on another obituary site as well.

I don't think the info is AI generated from scraped data, as there were alogs that showed up nearly immediately.

Also, it's pretty fucking disgusting to plan a prank about an old woman's death, and I didn't think somebody would be so fucked up to do something like that. Oh I am so naive.
