Advice for those faking Chris reports: When you make stuff up, keep it limited to what the one person you're talking about would know. Don't be tempted to tell everyone's story in one. Someone with contact with Chris is supposedly the source for this. Chris isn't allowed to have any contact with Barb. He wouldn't know specifics about her ailments or living conditions. If the stuff about Barb is made up, the rest probably is too.

I call bullshit.
 
I'm starting to doubt anything will happen, Chris already has a coping mechanism with death, a crazy one but one none the less. He already probably has this lore about her becoming a rosechu and living with Bob in Cwcville.

Chris loves her but I think he loves more the make believe version of her that he has created in his head (which no doubt had helped him do what he did).

So he wouldn't freak out like some think he would, he would just smile and nod and move on, maybe make a post online describing more of his delusions and...that's it.

Fuck, I think Cole might have a more emotional reaction than Chris and he hates her...but I also do believe part of him wished things were different and don't want her to die.

I don't know. I doubt at this point in his delusions Chris is capable of loving any one but himself. When Barb joins the Choir Invisible I doubt he will even give it more than a passing thought.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, yeah. he loves the made up version of her than the real one. The one he raped.
 
Bizarre language, use of "tie the knot". These obituary sites are infamous for accepting random shit without proof. No picture of Barb at all, nevermind once we haven't seen before.

Going off of the family tree one must ask who is this person? Is there any Joel Chandler ever mentioned before in the life of Chris Chan or his father?

Most likely fake, as everyone says. I can see this being real if it happens to be scraped/AI generated, since it does kind of read that way with how generic and weirdly-worded it is, and it seems like the kind of site that might do that. If that's not the case, though, definitely fake.

Big if true, but can we be sure that this is real? It gives two dates of death, and implies that Cole was Bob's son. I didn't remember a Joel Chandler, so I looked at the family tree and didn't find him. If he exists, he would have to be one of Bob's distant cousins. Bob was originally from Texas and grew up in Alabama, so that's probably where his closer family lives. Why would some distant cousin on her late husband's side be responsible for the obituary?
