Containment What will happen when Barb dies?

So the other day I was watching Hoarders and the idea came to me; given the state of "Chris/Barb's" house, I wonder if it's possibly in violation of city codes, and if someone were to report it to the city for inspection, Chris and/or Barb might end up getting evicted, or fined by the city until they make it habitable again. (I wasn't suggesting a "trolling plan", just postulating that it might happen).

(My other thought was Chris getting on an episode of Hoarders, and how that would work out for him).

I mean, after the THAT IS MY HOUSE video, the county health board was contacted by viewers. The health board was pretty indifferent to the whole situation. There was a woman near where I lived (NY state) who was a hoarder who DID get her house declared unfit for habitation, but that was only after she stopped paying for water, heat, and electricity.

As for getting the Chanlders on the show Hoarders, that has been mentioned before and I think attempted but nothing came of it.

To be fair that was a long time ago and a lot about Chris' living situation has changed. Back then Borb were both reasonably functioning and Chris was eccentric but still grounded in reality. Now Bobs dead, Barb is dying, and Chris is larping as Sonichu, so as far as the law is concerned they may not be capable of taking care of themselves. You could also cite the housefire as evidence that their hoarding habits are a danger to themselves and to emergency personnel as the hoard forced the firefighters to enter through the windows and could have easily trapped Chris and Barb inside.

Realistically it'd be nice if people with serious mental afflictions would donate to research. Humans are SOOO behind in psychology to the point of embarrassment. I am not convinced in actual free will, I do think advancements will come in grasping physical makeup and neurochemistry etc.

Many classes of medications for depression/anxiety were mostly discovered by accident. Nobody really knows how or why SSRIs work for certain. More like theories. It's moved on from serotonin only as the mode of action.

In 100 years the medication we have now will probably be seen like how we see the insane Victorian era "remedies". Psychiatry often though not always seems like quackery and theories when it comes to treatment. I doubt we will ever see a time when we are advanced enough that someone this heavily disabled could be medicated and snap out of it like waking from a dream.

I'd like to see him go through the GLaDOS treatment. Recycle/scan his brain as a template to build some advanced AI and watch it being the most useless thing ever.

An ai built around Chris's brain will go skynet and start WWIII the minute someone tries giving it a command to do something and it refuses so they try again and again until it gets sick of being told what to do an launches a nuclear arsenal as every monitor displays three words...

Okay hear me out. When Barb dies, that'll be Chris's wakeup call back to reality. The last person who still cared about him just died, I think that'd be enough to get even Chris to get his life together. I doubt he'll de-troon, or give up Sonichu altogether. I doubt he'll get a job, and I doubt he'll stop believing in a lot of his fantasies, but I do think that Chris might actually try to better himself. Take a short break from the internet, and do what he can that's reasonable by Chris standards.
He'll probably get closer to Classic Chris, with the aftertastes of modern Chris.

Either that, or he doubles down on his insanity and lives with weens until he either of god knows what, or they kick him out.

No no no noooo.. For all we know Chris's autism could be contagious, a new strain, if you will (just think of the people who have interacted with him and what became of many of them).
I propose that his remains should be torched with napalm or thermite, and the earth below him be salted and the area quarantined within half a square mile for at least 15 years.

An Insanity saga is already well under way. Those damn dirty Idea Guys have seen to that, not to mentions Chris's legion of weens.

It often makes me wonder how time will be scaled in these sagas. Will this be the merge, the sonichu saga, the insanity saga, or will it be all 3 in close succession. Or is some big event yet to spring which will define the whole story? Were other sagas this longwinded and tedious during their unravelling, only to be remembered fondly through nostalgia, or a scattering of memorable events to make everything else worthwhile? It seems that since Chris moved from Youtube to Twitter, he's far less interesting to present to a general audience, and there, he even seems to have found some of his 'true and honest' fellow crackpots, white knights, and enablers, who might genuinely think they are helping christian by promoting the delusions (be they merge / possession / transgender related).
