If I didn't work in health, I would have followed in my mother's footsteps to become a horticulturalist. My favorite orchid is Phalaenopsis Bellina.

I just love them really. Tried to grow one once but it came with mites and didn't end well.
There was a spectacular purple one I came across in a restaurant one time (they also ran an orchid rescue...) But can never find it on image searches.

I had a pretty white orchid which was the first one I was able to get to grow fairly well, but my dog absolutely destroyed the thing.

Not really an orchid guy I have one I got as a sympathy present back in 2016. It's a hearty bastard that just needs good indirect light and occasional water. Blooms pretty white flowers with red veiny lines every couple of years and is getting ready to bloom again soon. Pretty sure it's this one, phalaenopsis.
