Wing Commander 3 for the 3DO because everyone was bitching to me that the PSX version is not good enough, so if you want to see Mark Hamill killing furries in space this is your game

Protip: dont emulate it in 4DO because it look like ass, use Project Phoenix with the Goldstar BIOS

The age of interactive movies was weird as fuck. Wing Commander 3 was especially weird as it had Mark Hamil, that black dude I don't remember the name of in the screenshot that was in tons of movies back then, John Rys-Davies, (who younger readers might remember as Gimli) the guy who played back to the future's Biff and that former Pornstar. The Kilrathi Costumes were surprisingly rad, too. Scenes with them probably costed a trillion dollars or something. Hobbes you fucker. (EDIT: And how could I forgot Clockwork Oranges' Alex, Malcolm McDowell? Him too.)

This is what croberts really wanted to do all his life and the cutscenes showed it. Now he fleeces nerds for money to buy pictures of pretend-spaceships. Ah well.

There's a blooper reel for that game with Hamil and Thomas Wilson talking and at the end Wilson says "isn't he the guy from star wars?"

Yeah Star Citizen looks every day like a disaster but at least they promised to deliver a Single Player campaign where again Mark Hamill is there, sadly no killing furries but thats enough for me

He looks very.... dont know, hammy? i like it tho, i always liked Skywalker when he was not being a Mary Sue but the Squad Leader that get shit done like in Rogue Squadron without using bullshit powers, is great

Diablo 1 with the Beelzebub HD mod, makes the game look and play a whole lot better on modern systems.

Played through Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee again.

The game's subject matter just gets more and more relevant with time. : (

Finally worked my way through Stalker: Clear Sky (the last 10% of which completely justifies its terrible reputation) and moved on to Call of Pripyat. It's still buggy though far more stable than its predecessors, but I kind of miss the earlier version of the engine in those games. I don't like a lot of the little changes to the formula.

Still a great game though. Wish I had modded it before getting too far into the vanilla version. Oh well *sigh* The wait for Stalker 2 will be a long one.

I finished Dark Forces 2, fuck that last boss was a pain in the ass, decided to use invisibility to finish the game lol.

Wolfenstein the New Order. Playing it from a fresh save made a few months back because the old file ended up kicking me out of the game when I was on the submarine. As for the game itself, I always find it better than its sequel.

Picked up Aliens: Infestation the other day. Surprisingly fun Metroidvania.

Also started SMT: Devil Summoner on PS2. I really like the premise. Demon summoner moonlighting as a detective in what I assume is 1920's or 30's Japan.

Just finished the Xenosaga series. The decision to turn a planned six game series into a trilogy is definitely apparent by the time you get to the end of Episode III. The game goes into overdrive with the religious imagery and crams so much shit into the final few bosses/cutscenes a lot of the stuff they're trying to explain comes across as vague and half baked.

Still, I mostly enjoyed my time with it. Episode III in particular was really good other than the stuff mentioned above. After the more traditional Xenoblade games I'd like to see them return to the religion and giant robots of Gears and Saga.

And the Testaments were fucking annoying. You'd spend ten minutes putting one down and then after the battle they'd just stand up, brush themselves off and say "Wasn't that fun? Did you get everything out of your system?"

You definitely don't want to play the Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel games then. That's pretty much every fight with a major character. Your team of teenagers beats down the boss, then you get a cutscene of "Not bad, but it's time to get serious" followed by them powering up and someone coming out of nowhere and saving your ass. I really like the games otherwise, but it's really tropey.

hooked on trying to 100% BIT.TRIP BEAT even though it's hard as fuck; out of just somewhere under 16000 players, only 2 have even managed to perfect everything legitimately.

I recently beat the World of Light Adventure mode in SSBU. I got the true ending but somehow missed 2 characters. The game's roster is so goddamn huge....

And I have also been going hard on Persona 5 lately. I have been enjoying every moment that this game has, and I'm really considering trying the other games out when I get the chance. I've made it past the 4th palace so far.

Been playing Bayonetta on Switch, I’m currently on what I think is the final Jeanne fight on top of the building with the missiles.

It’s my first run-through of a Bayonetta game, and I keep falling back on habits I picked up from DMC games and getting my ass kicked. Having trouble getting used to dodge offset.

It’s been fun so far, if a bit unforgiving.

I played new Wolfenstein games backwards, starting with The Old Blood and then made my way to The New Order and then finally to The New Colossus, SJW politics aside, TNC was uhh, kinda alright but wished they made the game less dark (like the graphics were too dark had to raise up the brightness up a bit just to see the game) and the writing for the story less retarded, like how am I suppose to believe that an army stayed underneath the Submarine for that long without coming out for food or at least taking an opportunity to fight back when BJ's crew least expected it.

Bought a PS4 and started Yakuza 0. Barely did anything, but I did beat down a group of hooligans twice.
