Funny that Senator Bloodfeast has so many fellow travelers with a (D) next to their names nowadays.

As far as this assassin goes, what people keep forgetting, is that CEOs are the faces of their companies. They aren't completely responsible for the shit their corporate empires do, but they aren't completely innocent either.

Just like a politician isn't the end all be all of crooked politics, they are the FACE of it to some people.

So, of course a lot of people are cheering on the assassin.

Healthcare, ever since ACA, HMOs and the rest, has gotten terrible. We all fucking know it.

And since you can't do ANYTHING about them refusing treatment, taking your entire life savings and the kid's inheritance after you die (yes, they can and will take what gramma leaves you, between the hospital, the insurance company, and the state, you'll be lucky to get anything that you were given in the will) well...

...when all else fails, there's the ammo box.

I hope his trial is livestreamed. It's probably pretty open and shut and will be over with relatively quick but I miss the kyle trial thread.

Mitch McConnell is ConInc, but unlike most members of his faction, he isn't an absolute fuckin' moron. In 2016, after results were in, he saw that the way to get what he wanted was to deal with Trump. His retarded counterpart in the House, Paul Ryan, did not understand this and thought the smart play was to constantly backstab. Note the difference in outcomes. McConnell remained the leader of the Senate Republicans, while Ryan's political career is dead.

McConnell hates Trump but the need to avenge Scalia and prevent Obama from securing a liberal majority on the SC, combined with shoring up said majority so it will last well into the 2060s made him do business with him. Along with McConnell being radicalized by what happened to Bork and Thomas.
 
I can’t wait to see the AZ GOPs next excuse for losing the governor in ‘26 when Lake isn’t there, will they go with “Trump is just too gosh darn mean, AZ never really wanted him to win, his 7 point win in ‘24 was just a fluke”

McConnell isn't exactly a pro-Trump guy but he is a Republican who recognizes the elephant in the room and doesn't go out of his way to get gored by it. That is what set hims apart from people like Mitt Romney and Susan Collins.

The Democrats doing all this prep work to make sure that Trump cannot do anything to tear down their allies is probably going to be meaningless if the Republicans get competent people in charge. They can just overwrite that awfully convenient "emergency evaluation" on an disease the Dems helped invent when they want to.
