One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. It's better to be a terrorist than to be a neocon.
I was in his district at one point before redistricting (Before 2012). He basically ran off the Gravy seals injured in combat + typical neo-con lines to appeal to the low information male voters + white suburban mom demo. The Woodlands and Spring (Extension of Houston) are basically your middle-upper class suburban "paradise". He also supported red flag laws so he can loose the other eye for what I care while swinging from a bridge. What did Crenshaw run on anyways? I'm a huge political junkie so I generally follow senate races pretty closely but I am legitimately drawing a blank on anything regarding his campaign or platform.
They don't need to do that. I'm sure the FBI is working on felony charges for all 20. Either that or they die of a heart attack or something. So when do they start threatening the families of the 20? Because it's not a conspiracy theory, they probably have an FBI unit on speed dial for just this occassion.
Quickly, how many of the 20 have daughters? Operation Mean Girls is a go.
The Freedom caucus has been derided by much of the GOP for a while now, with many of the GOP adamantly opposed to helping Gaetz against libelous attacks or generally treating them as a bunch of kooks for not going along with stuff like the Russia conspiracy theories or thinking immigration needed to be toned down. Can someone here make a resume for the lot of us who couldn't keep up with US politics on why things came to this point in the House?
It's also worth pointing out that it's the only thing worth fighting for right now.The Freedom caucus has been derided by much of the GOP for a while now, with many of the GOP adamantly opposed to helping Gaetz against libelous attacks or generally treating them as a bunch of kooks for not going along with stuff like the Russia conspiracy theories or thinking immigration needed to be toned down.
Thanks to the slim win by Republicans in the midterms they now have the ability to hold up all of congress unless they're given some of what they want. It is a bit of a zero sum game since in order for the Freedom caucus to get better committee seats or getting the gavel in some, it'd mean others in the GOP wouldn't.
It's all a bit confusing to follow since there keep being rumors of what McCarthy might be making some concessions on as well as what it is that Gaetz and others in the Freedom caucus actually want. I feel like the bottom line is the Freedom caucus wants more power in the party and it's making the neocons want to vomit to think of anyone pro-Trump getting more influence.
Hmm...Voting present not sure if that counts as my prophesied dam break. As with previous 10th vote failed but with this round McCarthy actually lost support by one vote.
I'm really starting to see people flock to the idea of Trumpism being Americanism and that's clicking more. It's much more a managerial/working class perspective where even middle management people are realizing they have more in common with their employees than the people above them, and the past two years have made it more apparent. Everything in Congress right now exemplifies it. Jimmy Dore liberals seeing how gay The Squad is in comparison to those Trump bumpkins who are actually doing what they said they would, this is the type of lingering doubt that no MSNBC puff pieces or horrible ghostwriting on AOC's twitter account can remove. "Why didn't you stand up for our gay progressive principles when you had this power?"
And what's funny is in seeing this MAGA 2.0 being dropped now, Desantis is still running the 1.0 playbook

The one thing I don't understand was Trump endorsing Mckarthy. Was it to deliberately sandbag him or was that a legitimate endorsement, I cannot tell.
I'd like to think it's just to keep the spotlight off of himself, but "What if there was never any 4D chess and he was just retarded all along?" echoes in my mind. The one thing I don't understand was Trump endorsing Mckarthy. Trump endorsing McCarthy is being smart and trying to be the businessman meet in the middle, even though he has to know subconsciously the government doesn't work that way. He saw it firsthand. The one thing I don't understand was Trump endorsing Mckarthy. Was it to deliberately sandbag him or was that a legitimate endorsement, I cannot tell.
My thought is that Trump is not room premature IQ from his election methods (timing, using the media as free ads). He is however room temperature IQ in many other things.I'd like to think it's just to keep the spotlight off of himself, but "What if there was never any 4D chess and he was just retarded all along?" echoes in my mind.
Recommended reading for all btw. Federalist Papers #10
I want them to drag it to 2024. I want them to drag it until they force both parties to vote with each other (muh avert a shutdown) and expose them for the lying shitbags they are.MAGA can stay retarded longer than McCarthy can stay relevant. I wouldn't be surprised if they just dragged this all the way to monday.
Just 5 More and he will have lost more votes than there are Land before time movies.EDIT: HE LOST ROUND 10. ROUND 11 COMING UP GET FUCKED MCKARTHY
Ken Buck was voting for McCarthy but had to leave for a planned medical appointment. That's why it looks like McCarthy lost a vote.As with previous 10th vote failed but with this round McCarthy actually lost support by one vote.
What do you mean? They only ever made one "The Land Before Time" film. There are no other "Land Before Time" films. Nope nope nope.Just 5 More and he will have lost more votes than there are Land before time movies.
