Based on the comments for Gaetz’ Twitter feed, I’m not seeing a lack of support.

Side bonus, the Dems are getting no oxygen right now, which is like cancer for malignant narcissists. I wonder how long before we start seeing tantrums on that side?

So when do they start threatening the families of the 20? Because it's not a conspiracy theory, they probably have an FBI unit on speed dial for just this occassion.

Quickly, how many of the 20 have daughters? Operation Mean Girls is a go.

People, especially the Deep State types who are running the show, are in massive denial about Trump. They refuse to understand that Trump wasn't some insane one in a billion dude working some elaborate plan to make himself a God Emperor. In a way they keep buying Trump's own propaganda harder than even Trump's own die hard fans.

Trump was a symptom of the dissatisfaction with D.C. Now that Trump is out, others fill the gap. They will not stop until the issues that caused them are actually solved one way or the other. But the powers that be cannot face that fact because it would require them to admit some uncomfortable truths about their own notions and positions they are in denial about as well (such as how popular they actually are, what regular people actually think about globalism, the real state of western liberal democracy and so on).

Trump just lit the fire.

It's better to be a terrorist than to be a neocon.
One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.
What did Crenshaw run on anyways? I'm a huge political junkie so I generally follow senate races pretty closely but I am legitimately drawing a blank on anything regarding his campaign or platform.
I was in his district at one point before redistricting (Before 2012). He basically ran off the Gravy seals injured in combat + typical neo-con lines to appeal to the low information male voters + white suburban mom demo. The Woodlands and Spring (Extension of Houston) are basically your middle-upper class suburban "paradise". He also supported red flag laws so he can loose the other eye for what I care while swinging from a bridge.

Montgomery county doesn't play Harris county liberal DA games, at least not yet. You pull retarded shit there and the cops will knock your ass flat quick. Unless you're in the good ole boys club.

They don't need to do that. I'm sure the FBI is working on felony charges for all 20. Either that or they die of a heart attack or something.
If I was one of the 20 I'd be trying to be as unpredictable in routine as possible. I'd triple check my food and drink.

Also lol Mcarthy, loosing 9 rounds. Still can't take a hint. At least in 1938 they immediately went back to the table until a proper resolution.

I'm really starting to see people flock to the idea of Trumpism being Americanism and that's clicking more. It's much more a managerial/working class perspective where even middle management people are realizing they have more in common with their employees than the people above them, and the past two years have made it more apparent. Everything in Congress right now exemplifies it. Jimmy Dore liberals seeing how gay The Squad is in comparison to those Trump bumpkins who are actually doing what they said they would, this is the type of lingering doubt that no MSNBC puff pieces or horrible ghostwriting on AOC's twitter account can remove. "Why didn't you stand up for our gay progressive principles when you had this power?"

And what's funny is in seeing this MAGA 2.0 being dropped now, Desantis is still running the 1.0 playbook

Can someone here make a resume for the lot of us who couldn't keep up with US politics on why things came to this point in the House?
The Freedom caucus has been derided by much of the GOP for a while now, with many of the GOP adamantly opposed to helping Gaetz against libelous attacks or generally treating them as a bunch of kooks for not going along with stuff like the Russia conspiracy theories or thinking immigration needed to be toned down.

Thanks to the slim win by Republicans in the midterms they now have the ability to hold up all of congress unless they're given some of what they want. It is a bit of a zero sum game since in order for the Freedom caucus to get better committee seats or getting the gavel in some, it'd mean others in the GOP wouldn't.

It's all a bit confusing to follow since there keep being rumors of what McCarthy might be making some concessions on as well as what it is that Gaetz and others in the Freedom caucus actually want. I feel like the bottom line is the Freedom caucus wants more power in the party and it's making the neocons want to vomit to think of anyone pro-Trump getting more influence.

It's also worth pointing out that it's the only thing worth fighting for right now.

Republicans control the House, but Democrats still control the Senate and the Presidency. It's not like they need to get to work right fucking now on writing bills that Chuck Schumer and company are just going to wipe their asses with and throw in the garbage for the next ~2 years. This actually stops the Uniparty from jamming through more unpopular horseshit (More money to Ukraine and Israel!) and there's nothing they can do to stop it.

The one thing I don't understand was Trump endorsing Mckarthy. Was it to deliberately sandbag him or was that a legitimate endorsement, I cannot tell.

I'm enjoying this spectacle too, if only because I'm pissed that the RINO uniparty types want to go back to "business as usual" and pretend Trump-backed populism doesn't exist. Well surprise, surprise. It still does.

And I'm well aware that even Orange Man himself is saying to just get it over with and vote for McCarthy, but I say make him squirm some more. Not like the Republican congress can do anything to reverse the tide as it is with the Senate and Presidency still under Demonrat control.

This is one of the best things about this entire circus. It fully exposes how much AOC and company are simply lipservice and bait for retarded globohomo cattle. Not once have they ever even tried something like this, to actually push their agenda this hard. They talk a lot, never deliver. It's a silver bullet against their BS "talk truth to power be the revolution guys!"

As with previous 10th vote failed but with this round McCarthy actually lost support by one vote.

Hmm...Voting present not sure if that counts as my prophesied dam break.

MAGA can stay retarded longer than McCarthy can stay relevant. I wouldn't be surprised if they just dragged this all the way to monday.

The one thing I don't understand was Trump endorsing Mckarthy. Was it to deliberately sandbag him or was that a legitimate endorsement, I cannot tell.

Trump is a boomer and as such he is sadly very much stuck on his ways. He really thinks that he can try and "negotiate" with McCarthy and that disrupting the "ritual" of the speaker vote is bad optics or some shit.

Republicans voting present helps democrats more because Jefferies still has the most votes.

And all of this wouldn't have been possible if McCarthy supported MAGA candidates in the general election. Sarah Palin being an extra GOP vote (the CLF supported the other RINO in Alaska who split the vote), even 5-6 more like those red candidates on the east coast would have given him more breathing room even if a Joe Kent got in.

The one thing I don't understand was Trump endorsing Mckarthy. Was it to deliberately sandbag him or was that a legitimate endorsement, I cannot tell.
Trump endorsing McCarthy is being smart and trying to be the businessman meet in the middle, even though he has to know subconsciously the government doesn't work that way. He saw it firsthand.

BUT this endorsement means this can't be about him or "giving him another L," he's trying to play dealmaker. Really, I don't think he wants McCarthy and actually enjoys this because most of the Freedom Caucus are his people, he knows McCarthy tried to stab him in the back, but McCarthy also knows he's been caught being a fag, so he has to try and play straight to appease the Trump wing and the swamp cummie eaters. Betray Trump and the 20 (and by extension the actual GOP voter), the party is dead and Trump fully takes over. Betray the RINOs and acknowledge the power of the voters, they might reveal even more blatantly how Uniparty the system is by picking a moderate GOPe who defeats the entire purpose of winning the House, which also kills the GOP and Trump fully takes over.

Trump being nice or Trump being retarded, whatever it is it makes Naranja look bueno.

Also worth remembering that unlike McCarthy, Trump still has some credit with voters and the Freedom Caucasus. If he offers to make up for it later they might buy it. But McCarthy cannot offer similar promises of future support because no one believes him at all.

I'd like to think it's just to keep the spotlight off of himself, but "What if there was never any 4D chess and he was just retarded all along?" echoes in my mind.

Recommended reading for all btw. Federalist Papers #10
My thought is that Trump is not room premature IQ from his election methods (timing, using the media as free ads). He is however room temperature IQ in many other things.

MAGA can stay retarded longer than McCarthy can stay relevant. I wouldn't be surprised if they just dragged this all the way to monday.
I want them to drag it to 2024. I want them to drag it until they force both parties to vote with each other (muh avert a shutdown) and expose them for the lying shitbags they are.

EDIT: HE LOST ROUND 10. ROUND 11 COMING UP GET FUCKED MCKARTHY

The autoelimination of congress becomes more likely by the day. It shall be glorious when the average person wakes up.
