I love that any show (like HGS) that has even the smallest glimpse of LGBT-stuff gets the trope LGBT Fanbase.

I'll confess, I'm not the big gay, but all of my gay friends would fucking hate these shows.

Yeah that is really annoying or hell they think fanart depicting same sex couples warrants an lgbt fanbase trope despite most people that draw those are horny perverts. Then again YMMV tropes have loose justifications for things especially with hated characters

I very much take the YMMV tropes with a major grain of salt. Especially the LGBT fanbase trope.

Anything that advertises that piece of wokeshit as low quality crap aimed at a tiny fringe audience is doing at least one thing right.
How is it then that the tiny fringe audience in question seems to have more power on wanting to demoralize young parents on what kind of gay cartoons should be subjected to children?

I’ve always stated that since DeviantArt accepted more Tumblr refugees, the “fan art” in question has managed to make same sex couples look like they’re examples of royalty who think they’re otherworldly and not human.

In reality, they’re just tools who can be easily manipulated.

Four new jannies got hired, and Fighteer was the one to introduce them. Here's (archive) his first post introducing one, then the other two (archive), then the last guy introduces himself in the thread (archive).

Maybe they're finally realizing what a sinking ship the site is and how under-staffed it is? That's probably why the new jannies were brought onboard. At any rate, this is interesting.
:optimistic:
