I'm sure I could find it given time, but the whole HSAU kerfluffle is taking up most of my attention. :snakes: That and the whole entire group there gives me some insanely creepy vibes.

Is she the one who will always, always tell you that Optimus and Megatron are a 100% gay couple because she couldn't read the context in the fandom bible because Alpha Trion said "they're like torn apart lovers" or something like that? She and her little fanbase are cray-cray and I reccomend her some glasses as if it's not on the fandom wiki (which is another huge sperg-fest), it's not canon.

But I do have a link of when one of her white knights went apeshit from a few months ago. You can already guess what started this whole mess.

I do believe that's her! She also believes TFP Ratchet is 'problematic' because.. I don't know, because he punched Megatron in the face or some bullshit.

Also: fucking reyairia, man. What a dumbfuck. (Whoops, that's an ''ableist slur'', my bad.)

Why does IDW fuck up all of these franchises? I remember that the BBC got pissed that they were screwing up Doctor Who so much and they left. That should say something. Hasbro signs ten year contracts with IDW so maybe that explains the Transformers stuff.
 
I like all of the people going by "autistic[Transformers Character]" because it makes me think of that character rapidly changing from robot to X and back as a form of stimming.

Transformers fandom as it exists on Tumblr (and other places before it, but same shit) is past the gateway of crazy. Every female Transformers fan I used to know online (well, all three) went from completely normal to spending most of their adult lives on Second Life and writing about the most asinine otherkin shit I've ever seen within 2 years of this kind of stuff taking off. Reading this is bringing it all back.

I remember autisticsoldier back on my troll blog autisticmephistopheles (you know, the one where I was posing as one of Vade's asskissers for the lulz). She was fuckin' batshit crazy and I can confirm that she was definitely one of Vade's (actual) asskissers and was also friends with Sugar if I remember correctly. She also identifies as fucking Starscream, the Transformer that almost nobody likes.

I have to say that it is hilarious that there are people that identify as the fucking ocean of all things.
 
Oh god, this is bringing back terrible memories... the Transformers fandom has the most fucked-up underbelly out of any fandom I've ever been in. The fanfic writers have an entire dictionary's worth of cringey 'robot-sounding' replacement words for body parts and sex acts, and there are even multiple long, way-too-detailed screeds detailing all the different ways they've invented for their favorite characters to do the nasty. The most surreal part is watching people viciously attack people who aren't writing robot sex the 'right' way... so in a way this huge Tumblr uproar is not surprising to me at all.
 
As a Transformers fan, this is why I'm glad I don't interact with the fanbase at large.

From what I've seen, most of them are fucking looneys on par with the Bronies. Though that reminds me, isn't Walky (Dave Willis for the uninitiated) one as well?

Yes, Walky is still in the Transformers fandom, he's part of the TFwiki team (I think) but he's on the "im not touching tumblr's fandom with a 50 ft pole" side along with the other large transformers forum boards. He's a huge sperg for Hot Shot I believe.

I love that this group also crosses over with the always retarded "drawing tits on a robot is sexist and illogical, but here's a drawing of a robot with a giant dick and vag and that is logical and cool," transformer feminists.
 
A personal favorite of the Transformers fandom comes from alt.transformers from the 90s: "I wonder if sleeping with Airazor is like sleeping with a bird." I cringe at all of this gender pseudoscience bullshit infiltrating what is an otherwise fun series but nothing can ever top the insinuation of bird sex.

Probably didn't help that the show itself had Tigatron in a (brief) relationship with another white tiger. So obviously the more squicky of the fans would think that.

Though Transformer sex in general from the fans makes me wonder what the hell goes on in their minds when they come up with that shit.
 
These people kind of remind me of that one weird transformers plot line a friend told me about a really long time ago where Megatron somehow creates an army of imperfect clones or something out of the local populace by crash landing in a major city after some Unicron battle spheal. I wouldn't doubt some of them probably Identify as one of those.

This thread has potential to be something fairly amusing, considering how a surprising amount of the less crazy Transformers fanatics are willing to pay 300 dollars a pop for high end knockoffs of questionable quality. Add Tumblr to the mix and you could probably get a whole new level of wacky out of it.
