I'm on mobile so linking things is a bitch, but for anyone that wants good Creepypastas, The Other Internet, LSD Dream Simulator, The Theater, and Mr. Mix are some of my personal favorites

I personally hate the Jeff the Killer fanbase. The story of Jeff the Killer is fantastic in the fact that it can humanize a ruthless killer and at times makes the reader sympathize him.

I've noticed lately that the Creepypasta fandoms have started going full stupid with all of their favorite pastas to ruin (slendy, the rake, etc.) with doing stupid stuff in Miku Miku Dance (MMD).

I know they're trying to be funny with it in the same way people are with Gmod but I always find myself cringing because its just sad.

THANK YOU. The creepypasta fandom is ruining horror: turning the scary and disturbing bits tame and predictable, and the human and intimate moments cold and unfeeling from the elitism and inability to take criticism that infests the fandom.

It's not really even Creepypasta anymore. They're ascended memes in a sense. The characters have left their original context and become their own Internet identity complete with derivative spinoffs. And the result is autism.
I think this is why the more successful Creepypastas are those relating to a particular phenomenon or supernatural incident, because generally you can't turn those into a kawaii desu moe moe animu pretty boy (yet).

A recent hobby I've developed is going on youtube and searching "Top 10 Creepypastas"
There's always a narrator that tries their damnedest to do a "spooky" voice and they always end up sounding completely idiotic

For example:

Creepypasta Yaoi is one of the most cringeworthy things to come out of a fandom.

I got an account just to talk about the CreepyPasta fandom

They make me quite confuzzled in an angry way

Funnily enough, your avatar does a good job of showing what happened to these stories; they became so popular that people turned them into a joke that's not scary anymore.

Though I'm not gonna lie, I do love the fact that both The Fat Boys and The Fresh Prince did rap songs about Freddy Krueger. I love me some kitsch.

I have to admit I have a soft spot for vidya pastas, only really because it's hilarious reading all the shitty ones and then finding one that's actually quite decent.

Though they can all be summarised with:

Guy buys weird video game from a garage sale
"The game is satan dont buy it"
"hahaha what a quirky person"
Guy goes home and plays it
Spooky shit happens
"I shrugged it off, thinking it was a glitch"
Graphics far beyond the technical capabilities happen
"How did the game know my name????"
Then it ends with the game being possessed or some shit

Five nights with my haunted game: a Five nights of fisting creepy pasta

There actually IS a creepypasta-based fisting game that rips off the 'feed cake' mini game from 5 nights at fuckboy's 2 (which is a rpgmaker rip off of 5 nights at freddy's). It's about fisting BEN drowned.
