i'd go as far as to say you don't need to disconnect the things we in the west consider, as you said, 'sus', from this in order to still have it be rational
just like how a guy might be owning a rainbow dash plushie because he's just a genuine cartoon lover who likes the character but isn't cutting holes for his cock into it, this person could very well be participating in the furry community
furries aren't unheard of or even uncommon in japan, but the culture there IS different than that from the west, less (publicly) sexual and more cutesy and orientated around fashion and art, basically what western furries wanna claim
people still get off to the anthro animals but it's not as common to see degeneracy in public spaces due to japan's general cultural customs, they know when to keep it at home

Same here in France, we hardly see any furries. But I notice one thing it's the ‘‘pride’’ thing with americans : they need to expose themselves. All the time. Might be because of Hollywood or whatever little culture that's there that incite that dumb behavior, basing their entire personality on their sexuality or fandom.

Likely a politician's child, or a lucky inheritor. This kind of absurd shit happens. Not sure if she was a minor but one of the guys from Insane Clown Posse had a daughter who bought a ridiculously expensive fursuit and caused her father grief from it or something.

That is 100% Violent J, they have an extremely cringe Youtube video that makes me want to beat him with Shaggy 2 Dope. Just pick that motherfucker up by the heels and use him like a whippy little bitch-faced flail.
I'd recommend the daughter to just leave furry though, the sooner the better, before she finds out that the "inner sanctum" of furry overlaps with Hellywood.

Late, but I recognize the shirt the man is wearing. It's from Kitty Loves Monster, a furry-owned clothing line that hasn't been around for quite some time. Either that's an old photo, or he's had that shirt upwards of 10+ years.

(I recognized the shirt because a stand-up comic I saw at a gaming convention literally like 12 years ago was wearing it and had a whole bit about shitting on furries. Metaphorically.)
 
I wasn't sure where to post this, so I'll post it here. Dealer's Den had some minor drama over someone uploading AI-generated photos of a fursuit and asking $1000 for it. The fact that the upper chest and paw design change between shots should be a pretty big giveaway it's AI art.
