I think what I'm learning from this is that glitch desperately needs someone who will take the autists and wrangle them. Don't just take on good faith that someone who's made a couple of interesting shorts actually knows how to make a who season, get some kind of producer or something that will clean things up and make sure they have a coherent beginning, middle and end.
Up until the last episode it was generally coherent with the beginning and middle. The end just feels like it was ripped from some amalgam of shitty youtube video essayist takes on the show.

I just thought about the weird shit with kinger again and how he's written generally the same everywhere up until they decide the two episodes before this finale to make the "i can focus better in the dark" thing into "ah he's smart when he can't see thing". The reveal that his wife abstracted in the episode he also brings up feeling more relaxed in the dark because it reminds him of his last moments with his wife also kind of sorta implies that the reason he might be seen as crazy is because he keeps bringing up shit that reminds him of his wife as small talk.

Yuji naka got caught doing inside trading while not even at sega, not rape. Where the fuck did "sonic has rapists in their staff" come from? Supporting the current thing pushed by the media, being seen as transphobic, and money crimes are three completely different things but none of them are RAPE.

This is how episode 9 begins and when I first saw it, I thought it was a joke. But after watching the rest of the episode, I'm not sure anymore considering the writer's mental state.
Dubbed over improv IMO. I can hear the exact fucking voice inflection in my head.

Besides, why does Caine not care when people abstract? If his whole purpose is entertaining people, why does he treat them all as expendable? Why does he care after he comes back? It doesn't really make sense

"uhh, cuz he is cruuuaaazzy! and waaaky!'

This video made me laugh due to how retarded the guy talking is. The soy runs deep with this guy.

This mf makes me want to defend Vizziepop out of sheer spite. Amazing.

Gooseworx didn't want to make a horror show

He wanted to make a horror show themed slice of life dramedy with implied lore to entice the autistic wiki readers. It's the same as something like Poppy's Playtime.
It's the same as all of this bullshit but with a spritz of tranny themes sprinkled in. FNAF is the ground zero for all of what you could call Deeploreslop, and there have been no shortage of hacks looking for their slice of wikiporn. Once you get that fandom going they sustain your property on pure theoryshit alone. It doesn't even have to be a show, as in TADC's case, but there are plenty of those too. Just off the top of the dome you have FNAF, Bendy, Hello Neighbor, Poppy's, and so on.

But then they would complain that they just reinvented executives and that creativity is being opressed blablablablabla and that the media was bad because of executive oversight and not because the artist was an autistic manchild acting like a diva.

Could easily be running a program that auto-starts up again and to everyone inside there's no loss of continuity.

Like imagine a game with a bunch of little dudes running around like the Sims or Dwarf Fortress. You load the game later, everything about the game state comes back to the exact last state it was in and they keep going like nothing ever happened.

Imagine you intentionally designed a game that every time it gets loaded, every living entity gets a flag set for "imparted with the knowledge that their game was just loaded" and let them all react to that dynamically. "What went wrong in the future? Why did we get reloaded? Why does it say we've been reloaded 238 times in just the past day, what keeps happening? Is our computer in a reboot loop, is the hardware starting to fail?"
This concept was done way better in minutes by literal shitposters.

Basically, SMG4 devolved into Deeploreslop when they made The SMG4 Cosmology Lore saga, which only got worse later on, as the Modern SMG4 writing team never paid attention to what came before, not even the things they themselves wrote, resulting in many retcons throughout much of the newly established lore later on.

FNAF at least had the excuse at first that he just made a basic little game and it blew up, and given Game Theory’s part in the popularity he kind of had to post-hoc add a ton of lore to something he didn’t expect to.
But as time went on, and especially with things it influenced, I could also count FNAF as patient zero for ‘lorebait’.

As I was reading your post I was totally thinking of Hello Neighbor, and then :story:

I didn't play it but I've watched videos about what a disappointment it was, introducing annoying shit just to extend the game further, making the absolute worst mistakes like "it was just a dream," and all the super amazing deep lore ending up a pretty boring standard story about people who died.

For me both Alex Hirsch, and Dana Terrace are the poster children of this.

The latter was given millions of dollars to have her lesbian kid couple, in her own bootleg My Little Witch Academia show and she still somehow bitter about Disney. And Hirsch always bitches about how his bosses made sure he was forced to keep his content kid friendly. No shit. He was making a kid’s show. And of Disney using Gravity Falls IP without him. It’s almost like Disney owns the IP, and he was merely an employee or something.

As for Gooseworx, to me, it’s way optimistic to think he was forced to change his plans. If anything he has openly bragged about how many creative liberties GLITCH have given him.

They only put their foot down when it came to the movie, and monetizing TADC.

This is part of my theory of why the ending is so detached from the rest of the series. It's their biggest money maker, it was left open ended with the illusion of a conclusion by pulling the "nothing real you're here forever" thing, the original creative head of it's stepping away but glitch keeps the rights to it. Infinite mediocre digital goyslop to come. They're 100% gonna bank on making this their new SMG4

I hope this isn't true. I know there is some horny shit going on behind the scenes, but if this story is true, I think it would mean the end of Glitch.

That's a good thing, though
