he does care, he literally has the meltdown scene over the possibility of them finding a way to leave or abstracting and decides torturing them with intentionally shitty adventures for being mean to him is the solution. The implication with queenie was literally him just not realizing she was still "in there" despite abstracting in that flashback which is what made it so comcially fucked up but now we're just supposed to ignore like all the established worldbuilding and character moments for this shitty ass ending.

the big difference is the "uwu so wholesome chungus" guys used to be the same kind of guys as the racist mario guys before they got their pockets filled. Robotnikclaus with kovach, SMG4 having constant NIGGER, gooseworx being gooseworx... List goes on. it's intriguing because there's such a disconnect between when you see them making jokes similar to what they've always done and then it randomly shifts to "oh no no we'd NEVER say anything like that" and it's supposed to be a seriosu statement and you're supposed to feel bad for the same style of humor they have now being bad just because NIGGER words get uttered or even implied because NEGA is now offensive to these types of sellout bugmen.

Difference is he was saying pre-timeskip one piece was bad because the main characters in a fun adventure story don't just start dropping dead somehow completely not getting what one piece is about. I haven't been keeping up with it for years but when I went through earlier parts including a lot of stuff I missed from later parts (before the wano shit) with a friend a few years ago we had a good time generally but got hit with the dogshit the anime started doing to 'avoid filler" where it turns the whole show into filler by having 30 episodes of a boat about to crash. Like the boat is FALLING for an absurd amount of episodes and it's not even a long distance it's some shit that's much shorter in the og comic too IIRC and there's just constant shit like that after the timeskip.

I wonder how much of modern one piece is meddling from higher ups to keep it going for as long as possible though it's really odd witht he amount of bullshit asspull plot twists I keep hearing about.

Also the old artstyle will always be superior to the flat technically "better" smooth one. Had more of a unique look about it on top of the oda guy having his own unique artstyle. paired well.

Also I've been seeing occasional claims about one piece having been "niche" until just recently with the grifters latching onto it but that's literally so far fromt he truth it's ridiculous. Even when the goofy 4kids dub was the only way you could see the anime it was super fucking popular over her in the US. Shit came out during that time a ton of really good pirate shit was coming out for some reason.

I hope i don't come off as a little too MATI :lol: but this kind of thing right here specifically is what deeply annoys me about the current realm of western animation/indie animation. I've read everyone's grievances about this show (it's entertaining to actually get different views when it isn't the same one screamed at you) but when i was reading through the past pages about the leaked ending there's this bit of hindsight that they would do something like this. Every time one of these artsy animator types put out something and people tear it to shreds they have these phases of cope and deflection because it's clear they genuinely thought people would just enjoy a slapdash ending that is supposed to die things together but all it did is fling a rushed ending in their faces.

PSA to all you indie folks: if you're gonna make cartoons or anything for people to view and enjoy can you please STOP inserting every modicum of your depression or feelings into the work. Of course when people criticize the show they're now directly criticizing you the artist when you the artist definitively put way more of yourself into it and people didn't ask for it. I know I am just shouting into a void with this but every single time with one of these shows that end up like this. Everyone is subjected to the same judges no matter who they are and you choose what you want them to see. You don't get to go "woe is me" if the judges shake their heads at what you offer them.

Tbh it would be kinda funny if it started in 2017 and then ended in 2021 not because the events actually spanned that long but because the pc was just powered off for like 3.5 years in the middle and they just werent able to notice at all

Maybe Windows 95 became so bogged down with 10,000 updates after Caine connected to the internet to grab all those social media screenshots that the system now runs at a crawl. No one notices they live in slow motion. Everyone's doom comes when the PC forcibly pushes an upgrade to Windows 11 and the computer blows up.

Since there's two new shows coming out and no news of the third season of Meta Runner as of the time of writing, I decided to rename the thread so that it encompasses Glitch Productions itself instead of a single show.

Glitch Productions is founded by Luke and Kevin Lerdwichagul, the former of whom created the web series some of you may know as SMG4 (Super Mario Glitchy 4). His thread can be found here and his wiki page can be found here [A]. Discussions on the man himself should go in that thread.

My favorite part of this entire shitshow is how the tranny with a laundry list of deviantart fetishes who crashes out on Xitter every few months ended up being the lesser of two fuckups between him and Glitch.
The finale he wrote was retarded but he at least had the decency not to think it deserved a big international theater release while getting into arguments with foreign countries to protect spoilers(which turned out to be pointless) just because he saw a potential avenue for more jewgold.
