The more I think about this the more dumb it becomes. Bro, nigga, homie, you could have kept the exact same “twist” and had it be good if it focused on, oh I don’t know, the characters having to find and create their own meaning in a meaningless world instead of a dead gay nigga. Maybe have the cast discuss what to do now that they know escape is impossible, have them reach the conclusion that in a meaningless world the only meaning is that which you find for yourself, have them do literally anything related to their situation besides mill about while Jax 41% himself in the background.
The more I think on this, the more I also feel like Goose wanted to add in a bunch of gay shit but was either held back or possibly even the translation we got removed some gay shit. I bet you they originally wrote that Pomni and Ragatha scene to be a straight-up declaration of lesbian love and that got changed, and I bet Jax was going to explicitly be some type of fag but that had to be kept on the DL for various reasons.
This is such a hilarious disaster, especially because the theatrical release will take a massive hit in ticket sales because it’s not worth leaving your house to see this shit.

I agree with you.

Instead of trying to keep a twist even Mattpat saw from a mile away, and a nothingbuger twist he could have had both his cake and eat it. Dealing with the the horror of dealing with not being real thought-out the show, and having the excuse to actually explore the characters backstories and feelings. Maybe even have the characters be in denial of the truth and still chase an exit to make it more tragic and milk it more.

Instead we have Kinger just telling them the truth, and then they move on after browsing the web. All for a twist that really shocked almost no one.

FNAF had this negative affect of starting this trend of theory baiting done that is now done by many indie videogames and indie animations to milk the Youtubers making theory videos as much as they can for publicity.

Before, you had stuff like Gravity Falls that had a mystery hidden lore which encouraged people to make theories about it.
But it was cohesive, and consistent.
It most of it was revealed in a satisfying way at the end of it and the loose ends that mattered did end up being tied.

But with these new indie slop games and animations, you can always tell when the creators of them are constantly retconning things when the theorizers get something right and are clearly close to uncovering the entire mystery of the lore.
And it becomes an endless cycle of theorizers getting something, creators constantly retconning shit and the stories changing over and over again to the point it feel like it doesn't matter.
The story ends up dragging on too long to the point that it gets an entirely different feel to how it was at the beginning and at the end.

The ending of the story just ends up being lackluster and feels long overdue and is entirely different to how most people would imagine it would have ended.

This is kinda the opposite where the big mystery did end up being what everyone thought it was but at the same time, Goose claimed nobody "uncovered" the mystery so people were kinda hoping that the ending would be different than how they imagined and that the characters would end up going back to their bodies or coming back into the real world some other way.

yes having money and being able to navigate production is part of making a show. TADC was ass, theres like a handful of decent scenes making up less than 60min run time. Hazbin looks better, has a better cast, and musical numbers. Dilate harder. In a year no one will even remember TADC existed

I kind of believe this one. I think Goose is just such a miserable fuck that he made a good premise for a show and intentionally ruined it all.
 
When you think about it, the only two characters who had any meaningful impact on literally fucking anything that happened in this series were Kinger, the straight white male, and his Robot son. I guess you can include Pomni in there too, as a white girl who found the PC for Kinger and realized the bucket thing would work. The entire rest of the cast of racially diverse genderspecials were pretty much completely irrelevant to the story.
What did Cooper mean by this?

Hey man theres a difference between a B rated show and whatever this shit was supposed to be. At least Hazbin is purposefully gay. I wouldn't even be bringing it up if it wasn't in the title.

I just thought a "true and honest" "indie show" without "sweatshops" would put more heart and effort into itself than "amazon" slop but here we are

If I was gonna do the ending, I would like have their consciousness be transferred rather than copied, and once they escape the circus, they wake up in the real world and realize only a few hours have passed in real life since the perception of time is so drastically slower in the digital world, like a salvia trip, and nothing in their lives really changed at all.

There's like over 100 different other "final episode" ideas I've seen people spitball that make more sense than what we got even for ones that utilize the "everyone is just a brain scan clone" shit without resorting to "oooo nothing matters oooo abstraction irreversable even though you can literally roll back files if they're all data ooo"
