It seems one can no longer connect to KF (.st, .jp) via clearnet (residential network; got no mobile connection to test this with) from Moscow. Roskomnadzor has been ramping up blocking of various services since 2022, so maybe it's just time.

We've been blocked by them before. You'll have to change your DNS and get a VPN.

The DPI filters got Mullvad (and its provided censorship workaround) and I'm not particularly keen on exploring; it's only a matter of time before Proton gets got (if it hasn't been already) and the Chinese-grade domestic options that have been popping up here disgust me.

Word is, RKN are working on knocking down all kinds of tunneling, be it a squeaky clean VPS (operating within the country, might I add) or TOR traffic. That said, meek-azure (and obfs4 bridges requested from the Tor project, albeit with varying success) didn't seem to stop working through this entire thing, so we'll probably be fine for a year or so.

Not particularly fond of niggers at this specific moment tobehonestmate.
 
Tartarus: Fixed issue with sessions being invalidated for certain users.
Tartarus: Expanded whitelisting for agentic browsers, social media bots, and various crawlers.
Video player: Volume slider positioning should be predictably correct.
Video player: Captions should not duplicate in full screen.
Video player: Menus for caption and quality now try to dynamically position and overflow correctly.
Spoilers: Attachments in spoilers no longer blur in thread view, but will still be marked spoiler.
Spoilers: Blur checkbox on attachment preview has been replaced with an on/off icon; fixes issue where "Insert multiple..." would insert spoiler images in duplicate.
Thumbnails: webp fallback for avif provided. avif is preferred. Thumbnails will need to be regenerated for this to take effect.

This is a thread for reporting any tech issues or general discomfort with the site.

𝓟𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓮, CTRL+F5 before reporting any issues with attachments or avatars.

If you are seeing the KiwiFlare page continuously, close all Kiwi Farms tabs to terminate the session, open one tab, pass the challenge, then continue browsing. I will address this issue eventually.

I have no idea if it was addressed on that page as I can’t see it. I can see page 677 though

iPhone with chrome though

It suggests opening in incognito (doesn’t work) and restarting your phone (ditto). It almost works if I hit stop quick enough, so I assume it’s something in a certain post that causes the error

iPhone X running 16.7.15

Google chrome latest stable update which is 148.0.7778.100

It only started happening within the last few days. Maybe 3 days ago at most.

And clicking learn more on the screenshot is just the generic google website that says why it might be happening (nothing useful)

Nothing too major but the new reactions aren't available as images in the emoji tab or whatever it's called. I wanted to use Islamic Content on a poll post and noticed this. If this is an existing complaint, I didn't find it via search and I'm sorry for shitting up the thread
 
Not sure if this is a bug or if I just need to git gud and reformat around it, but some of the recent changes with how video attachments display within quote-blocks means that a good number of videos within the Skibidi Farms OP can't be played without the reader manually going to the quoted/linked post that the video was originally contained within. CTRL+F for "mp4" on the first page of the thread to see what I mean.

Thank you! If it helps with your poking and prodding, the videos aren't displaying even when I've manually attached the video file to the post and re-inserted it into the quote-block. Because of this, clicking the little [x].mp4 hyperlink that displays in place of the attachment just links the reader back to the post they're already on.

The change is deliberate for performance reasons so if you have alternative ideas other than simply loading them in on page load I'm open to it

Well I'm far from an expert on performance optimization, but maybe videos within quote-blocks could render like spoilered images at first, where it's a blank still-frame or something and the reader needs to click it to load the actual attachment?
 
You're experiencing a memory leak. Your old phone does not permit a single tab to consume more than 200MB of RAM. The thing is that I just disabled a ton of media on that thread page so I don't know what more I can do. The thumbnails are also a very efficient format.

Is it now happening on fewer pages? Does it happen immediately? What about specifically that last page of community happening?
