DudeMcFriend is almost certainly Tyler/404UNF/TF2CutContent/@RoonMoonlight/@Throwawayaccount2022. He deleted his twitter account in the last hour around, which he depressingly still posted on. I checked a few hours ago because I know he regularly checks this thread and the informant was being discussed here, who he e-dated while she was 20 and Tyler is closer to 40 than not.

Zesty's been very ominous about his next video. He's said on stream that it'll be his most controversial video (yet) and could go so far as to crash the TF2 economy. I'm very curious as to what he has in store for us.
Zesty hates traders so he's probably going to expose some sort of price fixing ring. That would be my guess.

A price fixing ring has been around since the inception of Backpack, maybe earlier. Any voting system for item prices where the outcome is decided arbitrarily by judges is going to turn into this eventually. The only people I've seen complaining about this are unusual traders and, way back when, people who didn't agree with pricing decisions on TF2 Outpost, Bazaar, trading servers etc.
A more boring explanation is yet more Valve laziness. New creators getting their virtual items people pay money for into the game means setting up new payout accounts, signing contracts and other clerical things. If the intern in charge of following the bloat checklist for the next "major" update is too lazy to do basic map testing or survey the workshop, it would make sense to go with the same clique of Facepunch goons.

The fact that a (likely) majority of players are bots is pretty much common knowledge. But most people don't know about the trading and workshop cabals.
You couldn't waterboard this out of me. TF2 is a platform, a huge mainstream one at that, and you chose to surround yourself with "(picrel)". Aight, nice flex bro.
While everyone knows TF2 is botted to hell and back, you can still observe playtime trends in TF2's graph, it's just noticeable compared to CS2 because...well, look at CS2's playerbase, it's over 10x larger than TF2. The charts don't really show how bad the problem actually is for either of those games--CS2 doesn't suffer as much since real players still somehow outnumber bots, but that game is screwed if it dies since no one runs dedicated servers for it. Can you still even do that for CS2?
