Is it just me, or does paypal take longer than immediately to register? Another reblog of this post I saw had a user pointing out it takes 3-5 business days to register the ACH transfer from paypal to the bank. Her response was she's got the paypal debit card. Fair enough - but this is assuming the people donating would pull directly from what's in their own paypal, and not having to transfer money to paypal first (which also takes 3-5 days to process). - At least, that's how I understand paypal to work. Could be wrong though.

Instead of going to a store and buying food you can cook with and making enough for leftovers (a pasta dish that can feed 4 people and have leftovers available can be made under $20 if you know what you're doing and know how to budget your money). She takes her fat ass to a McDonalds and spends her pitybux on a one time meal for her and her cousin instead of something that can last for possibly days. That is the epitome of trifling and fucking sad. I get it. Money's tight and all of that but really? I bet you my life that they have food in that house but she's too inept and lazy to cook. This fucking gets me because she can get over $1200 in pitybux AND have a job and people are legitimately struggling to find work and do whatever jobs they can to get a few dollars to feed themselves and their families. This can be considered A-logging but goddamn I hate when I see people do shit like this and think it's ok. I'm having a tough time getting commissions and this bitch can go whine on tumblr for free to get McDonalds for her and her cousin.

While I don't necessarily disagree with you regarding the cooking thing, sometimes that's just not an option - whether because you don't know how to cook something like that (internet recipes are not always useful for people on budgets unless they're 'savvy' college kid recipes and even then that's more a meal for one to last than a meal for a whole family and often doesn't take various dietary needs into account); do not have access a proper kitchen environment to cook (:powerlevel: but case in point - I live with a hoarder and the vital points of the kitchen - fridge, microwave, pantry, etc., are impossible to keep clean due to the amount of rancid shit that gets accumulated, and no matter how much you throw out, more just gets added back in as hoarders are wont to do) or access to cheap bulk shit (even Wal-Mart can get expensive depending on where you fucking live). McDonald's CAN be a last resort alternative if you're the type to only eat one meal a day (highly not recommended but it does happen), but as you said re: cooking; that's only if you know what you're doing. You need to lrn2coupon and make the best of special deal menus.
That being said, the fact that Satsuki is making this much e-begging but blowing it on fucking conventions and shit and instead of saving it and investing it more wisely in more long-term options LIKE learning to cook or developing a skill to possibly put towards obtaining a different source of income to get off the e-begging track speaks quite a few volumes about her. She's not trying, she's just sitting back and demanding handouts.
...also I hate to say it but I'm kinda doubting her claims of family being disabled too. I think that's just extra bait to cinch more pitybux.
Checked with both sites. These let you withdraw funds before the goal is met. You can then withdraw more if more people donate.
Let's suppose that she legitimately is broke. This means either she's refusing to use the money she's been given already even to just be able to eat or, more likely she's already burned through about $1600 since starting both fundraiser pages (one of which has been up for 9 months). Not to mention the direct to paypal donations that we can't see and count. (Should be noted that she's got the direct to paypal link posted in both fundraiser descriptions.)
Sidenote: When I went to make the archive pages, I found the Youcaring one had already been archived for some unknown reason. That archive from 1 month ago showed $0

Doubts are also being raised. Also, where did the niece come from? Is she the spawn of the disabled sister or some other sibling. And if said sibling is not living there, are they unable to help?

On another note, does anyone remember tumblr user fireworkcomic? They ran a blog called this is wealthyprivilege or something like that and it turned out that this person, who claimed to not have drinking water in the United States, had been forced to hand over their hard earned money to their mother when they had been a minor, didn't even graduate high school, along with a lot of sob stories and was supposed to be generally poor (despite buying a ds during her blogging time and shirts off the internet) was....not poor at all.
Reading this thread makes me think of her and I'm wondering just how much of her story is legit. Honestly, if you're that broke, you don't go to cons. Especially out of state ones.
