I've had many conversations with Satsuki, and honestly, I can't help but feel you guys are a bit tough on her. She's a genuinely nice and funny person, and she is definitely in a rough situation.
Yes, but to tell people off who give her suggestions and such? Thats not the way to go about it. For example, shes a fan fiction writer? She can make money off her writing. Instead, she goes about it the laziest way possible and gets angry if you call her out on it.
From an outsiders perspective, she just seems like she isnt trying to better her situation, and is just waiting for someone else to fix it for her. I find it hard to sympathize with her when she wont even tell anyone what mental illness she even has. Theres a lot she could do for herself if she really tried to get insurance, maybe do comissions for people, i dunno. Then again I dont actually know her, this is just coming from me.
I'm wondering if that's more a stress reaction. She lives in a crime-ridden neighborhood with the terrifying threat of homelessness looming above her head. I don't know about her, but when I get stressed, I tend to shut down to aby suggestions. I feel better if I work things out myself.
Has he posted any pictures of himself before? It'd be interesting to see what he looks like, considering how defensive he is about MLP.
The thing is, what she does have, she's ungrateful for. That's the worst part. You'd think she'd be a little more happy about having a job paying 9 and hour than that. When people bother suggesting stuff like "food pantry" or anything similar, it gets blasted by hate.
Here's the thing though, (sorry if powerlevel) I have a close friend who was in that exact situation, in that exact neighborhood. Small world, right? He never flipped out on people for making suggestions, despite being told by his landlord that he had a week to come up with two months' rent or else he was out, something that happened often until his landlord actually booted him and he had to scramble to find a new home in 30 days. The only time he asked people for help was when he was completely out of options and still a few hundred short. And a lot of that money came from people's suggestions.
It's not like she wasn't even given the chance to go for commissions or other online work. (Which many disabled people use for money. ) Ebegging is a fickle sport. Unless your backing it up with work, it'll dwindle fast.

I've personally given Satsuki a fucking laundry list of sites she can use to earn money from home that are legit. You know that supernatural gif of Crowley unrolling that super long contract. Yeah, think that long. Personally hand picked, checked, and verified. All with bonus benefits (an extra 5% point boost on some things, that would help her get more money at a faster rate) since she was going to be a referral rather than a cold sign up. And I waited for when she wasn't in the middle of yet another "omg mah anxiety ooo gimme teh monies!" fits, too.
That would require effort on their part.
