It's honestly fucking impressive just how many people in the Smash community are misinterpreting everything in the video.

It's literally as simple as "Both should be banned because both knowingly flirted with minors", how do they not understand this?
 
It is funny how smashfags/twittards seem to be extrapolating every meaning other than the one Technicals intended (that peoples standards for juding high profile players vary wildly from case to case)

To comment on the Technicals video: It's so fucked up that he's right, but he goes about doing it in the most lame way possible. It's like he wants to be the iDubbbz Content Cop of the SSB community, but it just comes off really forced and awkward to me.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like presenting your point (in his case, common sense) in a normal way is how you get people to actually listen.

I don't think it would make any difference if he presented it normally even from the beginning Like when he started his Esam videos. The hypocritical hero worship (and Twitter/Reddit mob) is just that strong and most will just keep their opinions to themselves so they won't lose fans.

The Smash community hasn't change stances on Nintendo since EVO 2013 if you think gossiping is useless. More than 8 years since I tuned into that tournament, smh. I am more of an adult now than the grown adults I got to see on stream, shameful. You would think 8 years is enough to do something if you bought into the hype back in 2013-2014.

It was extremely autistic hearing it, Augie behaves like this when getting into other communities' drama and ends up backfiring so he screams his way out of the situation. Augie gets into all kinds of drama without interest of what the topic at hand is about. He is the quintessential eceleb orbiter, there's significant crossover with Keemstar and Ethan Ralph.

Pretty much but, from what I heard, that's mostly the fault of Augie as he sperged out for most of that exchange.
 
I just watched the beginning of that "there will never EVER be another melee gamer like hungrybox" video that won't get out of my fucking Recommended for some reason.

I don't get why him screaming at the top of his lungs and throwing a tantrum over a crab getting thrown at him is portrayed sympathetically, let alone why everyone in the comments is virtually patting him on the back for it. It's completely tactless and makes you come off as someone with serious mental issues, not as some elite warrior-gamer denied his rightful victory or whatever the fuck.
