UPDATE: I have now collected all 240 Shine Sprites in this hack.

This hack is fucking AMAZING. 9/10 experience. The only issues I had were a few minor glitches, and some of the new content not blending in perfectly with the old content.

Overall, this mod had amazing new levels that are of similar quality to official Nintendo levels. The difficulty level of this hack is also very reasonable. With a few exceptions, this mod is slightly harder than the original game but not to an absurd degree.

I am also blown away by the amount of content in this mod. There are more than 12 brand new levels (the original game only had 8 levels), and you unlock a LOT of stuff as a bonus after collecting 240 shine sprites. I won't spoil it but the completion bonus is absolutely worth it.

I downloaded it last night and the game is pretty hard but I've never been a big Sunshine fan. I'm still in the training area after an hour.
The movement and even the fludd gadgets were always the draw for me, it just felt really good to play. Plus you get to platform around beautiful locations during mario's summer vacation, peak vibrations.

Awesome! I remember reading about this and now it is here.

Question: does it include the original game content or is it all new? Either is fine by me. Worst case I can play them both!

It includes all the base game content with the new levels added in. They also made it so most, not all, of the blue coins can be collected in any episode

It has 240 shines; 120 original and 120 new.

It also has 3 playable characters, and you can use the new characters in the old levels for a slightly different experience.

Thank you both! This is great.

I keep my media center packed full of games for guests. They love it. And I try to keep stuff installed that is interesting. This is perfect for that.

I rarely am interested in hacks, but this is really appealing, especially as a Sunshine shill. I'm also surprised it can run on real hardware being that big, but I guess it could've been done because GC was stronger than PS2, and that had huge games.
