I am of firm believe that absolutely everyone should have at least one year of customer-facing work. Landscaper, Food service, Retail. Whatever- just so you get to experience both the best and the worst of humanity and make the conscious decision on if you're going to be abusive to someone who is (possibly barely) doing their job, or accept it for what it is- a thankless job.
Meanwhile, anyone under the age of 30 generally wants to be some Internet influencer because of the dopamine hit and easy money (for the successful). That's why I love the
