Yes get rid of everything, you don't want to associate your bed with anything other than just sleep. Avoid lots of liquids at bedtime so you don't have to keep going to the bathroom, and make sure you are comfortable so you're not tossing and turning, reawakening yourself. It also helps if you make yourself absolutely exhausted with some exercise or other physically demanding projects.

Most therapeutic practices seem corny to me, but one thing that works for relaxation and sleep, is visualization. Something to start thinking about as I drift off. It sounds stupid but for me I imagine the most tricked out tour bus I can, with a bunch of impossible rooms and amenities that would never exist in a real tour bus. For some reason that knocks me out better than any substance I've tried, and QUICKLY.

Also thinking about the stupid tour bus has no emotional quality for me, I don't get super excited or depressed thinking about it, nothing to stimulate my mind.

For context (quick sanity check)
B6 at 40 mg is very high (near the upper safe daily intake if used chronically).
B12 at 500 mcg is massive but generally well tolerated (water-soluble).
Niacin is niacinamide, so no flushing, unlike nicotinic acid.

Anyways, a guy who is a chronic drunk will respond to vitamin B as it gets depleted by being a fucking drunk.

Way back in the early Styx lore he used to talk about the time he used K2/spice, one of those legal cannabis alternatives that were going around before it was legalized anywhere, and it severely messed him up. I think he even said he was in the psych ward for a while.

Unless there's a story I had never heard, his "overdose" was basically just smoking 2009 gas station weed and having a difficult time with it.

Ohhhh....

He's probably wanted in New Orleans, that's why he was saying he can't go down this year for Mardi gras because he'll be bagged up right away.

A rental agreement doesn't protect the tenant, landlord tenant laws protect the tenant. The rental agreement protects the landlord. Lots of landlords throw stuff in rental agreements that aren't enforcable, and they rely on tenants not knowing the laws, but what it does establish is often notice of punitive actions the landlord may impose if certain terms of the lease are broken. One of the big ones that I see often, that is legal, is imposing a fine if you move someone into a unit without putting them on the lease, I've also seen bad landlords try doing this to parents with partial custody of children (that's not legal).
