To be able to maintain that view, they have to take everything opposing as uncharitably as possible and everything from their own side as charitably as possible. Most political groups have some version of that, but I don't know if there is any more blatant or unsophisticated as that off antifa.

Here is another example, where they end up claiming that you can have anal sex without any fecal matter at all. It's like they haven't even heard of santorum.

Or maybe they have difficulty understanding exaggeration. You'd think one of stonetoss' worst comics would be easier to satirize.

TL:biggrin:R, basically people that try to parody Stonetoss comics try TOO hard to inject beliefs into the panels, they come off as unfunny at best and patronizing at worst.

Funny, I never interpreted it as "this vs. this", rather as gang signs; "here's three gangs, but there is also this fourth gang"

I suppose that's the other side of the coin of having comics where you don't get a wall of text or wall of labels making sure you receive it exactly as it was politically intended.

That's kind of the genius of Stonetoss. A lot of his comics intentionally have multiple levels, giving him a broader appeal, instead of people like Ben Garrison autistically labeling everything so nobody ever gets the wrong idea.

I showed some stonetoss comics to a friend. He only got about half of them, because he isn't mired in online political discourse/memery.

I think part of the appeal, and you can see that in this thread, is that unless you understand his political perspective, you don't get what he's saying.

You see the same on antifastonetoss. People are angry about the comic while they sometimes simultaneously ask for what is meant by it.

I think there is a different comic too where he makes the point that the founding fathers were cool with privately owned cannons or something like that so kinda to the same point as yours.
 
It is funny how he also mocks Horseshoe Theorists.

Honestly I kinda believe in Horseshoe Theory, but a different version of it, instead of having a relativity of ideals, instead it should be a relativity of behavior, this encompasses general autistic behavior, tendency of a hivemind, the amount of tin-foil hats in the crowd, etc...

This new definition definitely encompasses both the Far Right and the Far Left and how actually retarded they are.
