I don't think the comparison is good. The art is somewhat similarly lazy but at least the klurf things are generally on-model for the strip and things don't just degenerate into pure shit like AM. And plus it's funny sometimes. Even if ST is an unironic Nazi it's in all respects better as a webcomic than AM.

I actually agree, but if Stonetoss has to compare itself to a widely mocked lolcow comic to look good that doesn't reflect well on it.

Assigned Male comics always feel like a lecture with way too much dialogue. There's no subtlety and absolutely no humor.

One would think that Gary Markstein would feel above StoneToss, being a paid syndicate cartoonist for 20+ years that literally only has to show up with something to print to get their paycheck & having Daddy's Home® along with standalone political cartoons published and winning awards. But as ComicsGate has taught us, even established professionals can feel threatened by literal whos and throw their entire careers and legacies away in an attempt to one-up that one asshole who didn't laugh on an obscure internet page 3 years ago.
