The suspect in the Portland shooting did an interview with Vice. The same day the interview went live, he got killed in what the police claim (corroborated by some witness accounts) was a shootout.
Goons seem upset.

It's way more interesting even than that! He fled the state to Washington, hoping to evade arrest. That made him officially in the crosshairs of the Federal Marshalls, who pursue felons across state lines and do not fuck around. People believe that clues from the Vice interview, quite possibly phone metadate combined with the video of the home and nearby area, allowed a Federal warrant task force to find him at the safehouse he was using.
This is just Goons having a normal one though, so they barely care.
