Honestly thought at first this was some sort of archived post from 2000 but no, Jeff K merch in TYOOL 2018. Random! Intarnet! Teh!!!! So fresh and hilarious.
 
He could fix his forums so easily if he'd just ban all the shit moderators instead of the people posting. Then lift all the bans for all the users who received petty reasons. Oh, and start enforcing the actual rules instead of the system they have now where they just issue punishments for not being liked.

No see, the joke is that it makes no sense to spontaneously revive a character like 20 years old whose premise isn't even really a part of internet culture anymore. If a joke is met with confusion and pity instead of laughter, that's the audience's fault.

Being in his fourties and reviving a posting gimmick from 25 years ago which was very much a product of the times and doesn't have any actual comedy value outside of that context, to try to make a few quick bucks from the saddest fuckers on the internet is the most JeffK thing you could do. Its very meta.

Everytime Lowtax posts I'm really amazed how far up his own ass he was able to get his head.

You can DEFINITELY make the same jokes on SA today that you could make in 1999 without getting banned. The humor most definitely hasn't changed to bland un-gendered, don't speak ill of our precious browns and gays, marxist "punching up" preachy 'humor'.
Also yeah its DEFINITELY conservative christians who form the bulk of the morality police on Something Awful. Those fucking Bapists, thats who are busting into threads non-stop injecting their pearl-clutching morality and world view into everything and trying to derail threads with pages long discussions about things unrelated the thread subject because of something that offends their personal sensibilities. Those goddamn bapists digging up year-old obvious joke posts that are obviously referencing movie quotes and getting people banned. That's definitely accurately describing the SA morality police.

No he couldn't. He could slow the loss of users, but there is nothing to be done at this point to stop SA from sliding into dead gayness.
 
Yeah, I don't understand why people think Something Awful can be fixed at this point. It's just a dead and gay message board that everyone has forgotten except for a couple hundred dingleberries who still visit because it's been a part of their :autism: routine :autism: for the last 20 years. This Jeff K T-Shirt and subsequent meltdown is a new low for Lowtax.
 
Well it'd never be popular again, but it'd be more inviting than "forum full of insane trannies and tranny-enablers that ban you for wrongthink and also you have to pay ten dollars each time you want to try"

Looking at the registration dates of the accounts that are active on SA nowadays, disregarding any reregs, it would be surprising if the majority of the userbase even understands the reference.
