I can agree with therapy being a form of buying validation. I know a few head cases that just hide behind it. But i ve met people who honestly are self aware of their issues and have the desire to change and express frustration of therapy not working.

Back to SA Who were thinks there would be a good reality show if lowtax got to room with Null in eastern europe?

Interesting that this comes up. For awhile, the E/N subforum on Something Awful had a massive problem with SJW goons coming into threads to tell the OP that actually you shouldn't seek mental help at all, because the healthcare system in the United States is so broken that it's not worth even trying so idk maybe just kill yourself or something instead.

It was seriously fucked up, and happened to pretty much anyone discussing mental issues.

At one point there was a dude there who claimed to be on the run from his family on account of them trying to "lobotomize" him with psych meds. There were four threads in total if I recall, and he was increasingly insane in each one; the last thread featured a Youtube video in which he held up a sign begging for money and then proceeded to masturbate while making wild vocalizations and staring blankly into the camera.
