Wow, you got me. Not sure what the point of your post is though. Also, Jeffrey was never paid, he was the one who ended up paying Lowtax.

I don't think ZDR was actually paid formally - just that he was allowed to ebeg on the forums (and then fucking dipped).

That said (to your point) - Lowtax was tight fisted about paying anyone for anything, but no one knows how Jeffrey operates. There's no reason to think he would make the same mistake as Lowtax and would actually understand that talent costs money.

ZDR did money, both he and lowtax confirmed it, but IIRC it wasn't regular money and for a very low rate. ZDR's 20K exit grift was just severance.

Yes, and in true Something Awful fashion, people were punished for posting that ZDR did it deliberately. The official story was that he was implementing some new technical fix, that just happened to delete his posts and only his posts and he never posted again. After grifting all that money.
